Max got up.

"Bye guys."

"Later," Zack and Austin said in unison.

"Aren't you going to say anything about my outfit?"

"No."

"What outfit?"

"I'm going to volunteer at the hospital."

"Okay."

"Good for you. Bye."

Max rolled her eyes and got a pass from the teacher. She left. Zack looked up from his phone.

"Where'd Max go?"

"Don't know, she's small so she's probably hiding under something."

He shrugged and went back to texting.

"I have a quick question. If Jack and I were drowning, who would save?"

"My time and effort."

"Should've expected that."

Max ran back in.

"Owen's getting beaten up by his dad!"

"What?!"

Max ran back out and the students followed her out.

"I don't get paid enough for this shit."

*Plays theme song*

In the hospital

Owen looked around bored. He thought of something.

"Max?"

She didn't answer.

"Maaaxxx?"

She still didn't answer.

"MAX!"

She burst in angry.

"What Owen what?!"

"I'm bored."

"Well what am I suppose to do?"

"Can you get me another pudding cup?"

"Fine."

"Wait."

"What?"

"Where's Zack, Jonah, and Jane?"

"They... went looking for your father."

"What?!"

He quickly sat up.

"Owen-."

"You gotta tell them they can't do it! He won't care that their fourteen or thirteen, he'll hurt them Max!"

"Owen, don't worry, I will. You can't get worked up remember?"

"Yeah, sorry."

"It's okay."

She left.

At Owen's house

"Zack, do you really think his dad would be here?"

"Yes, now you guys stay here and call the police while I distract him."

"Be careful."

"I will. If I don't come back, tell Slater I love him."

He went inside.

"We'll tell him tomorrow."

"Yeah."

In the house

Zack walked in and looked around. He wasn't there.

"Wow I guess I was wrong."

Then he felt pain on his back and fell to the floor. He looked up and moved out of the way in time before he could stomp him. Zack ran around the house while Owen's father chased him. He ran into Owen's room and locked the door. He looked out the window and saw the police.

"Aha, you're done Mr. Donnell!"

"If I'm going down, I'm taking you with me you little faggot!"

He broke in as Zack crawled through the window. He closed the window on Zack's hands and he screamed out in pain.

"Zack!"

Zack got his hands free and fell down. He landed in the rose bush.

"That's going to hurt in the morning."

In the hospital

"I can't believe my dad broke your hand and ribs and your foot."

"Yeah, it was also my foot," Zack lied.

"Thanks guys for-."

"No problem man, we got your back no matter what," Jonah said.

They fist bump.
