At Max's house

"Today is the most important day of our eleventh grade lives."

"Max there just a band," Amber said.

"Stray Kids aren't just a band, they are Heaven."

"Who else is going to be there?"

"Well, I invited you, Jonah, Ryan, Owen, Zack, Jack, Austin, Jane, Damon-."

"Wait you invited Jane?"

"Yeah. Look I don't take offense to what happened at the party. It was just a drunken mistake."

"Is she cool with it?"

"Obviously. She wouldn't miss this once in a lifetime opportunity."

Max's phone dinged. She looked at it.

"Sorry, can't make it. She's probably sick."

"That's not what her Instagram post with Hunter says."

"Yeah well maybe that's just how sick people spend their day."

"Really," Amber said sarcastically.

At school

Zack went up to Jane.

"Hey, we're going to the Max after school. Do you wanna come?"

"Oh no, I'm busy."

"Doing what?"

"Literally anything else."

"What's wrong?"

"It's so awkward now. How can I face her after what I did."

"It's only awkward if you make it awkward. Speak of the munchkin, here she comes."

"Zack, hide me!"

"Where Jane, in my shirt," he said sarcastically.

"No that would never work."

Zack rolled his eyes. Max went up to them.

"Hey guys."

"Hey."

"Wow Zack, we bumped into Max, Isn't that weird?"

"Not really, she walked up to us."

"Jane, I think we should talk about-."

Jane ran away.

"Why do people just run away from me? I just start talking and-."

Zack walked away.

"Yeah but you walked away."

At Jane's apartment building

"Your style has changed a lot over the years," Jane said.

"Oh yeah, mom told me I should start to like feminine stuff as a teenage girl. So I started liking girls. Also, shouldn't you talk to Max," Katie said.

"I am, the next time I see her."

Max and Amber went up to them. Jane crawled out the window onto the window washers platform.

"You have got to be kidding me."

Max took off her jacket.

"What are you doing?"

"Talking to my best friend."

She crawled out onto the platform.

"Hey, you must be Jane's sister. I'm Amber."

"I don't care."

"Do you have a boyfriend?"

"I don't like boys."

"Yeah, cooties."

On the platform

"Max get back inside."

"No, we need to talk."

"Girls, both of you need to get back inside," Amber yelled.

"Look-."

The platform broke and tilted sideways making Jane fall. She grabbed the edge. Katie and Amber screamed.

"Jane don't let go!"

"Why on Earth would I let go?!"

On the sidewalk

"Do you think Jane and Max will forgive each other," Ryan asked.

"Obviously, they've been friends since ninth grade. They'll work it out," Zack said.

"What's going on up there?"

"I don't know. Give me your girl scout binoculars."

"They're BOY scouts," Ryan said giving him the binoculars.

Zack looked through them and saw Jane hanging from the platform.

"Girls are so complicated!"

He gave the binoculars back to Ryan.

"Come on and bring your rope!"

On the platform

"I can't hold on! Stupid gravity!"

"I'm going to save you!"

"Max, you can't pull up her weight."

"THANKS FOR THE INFORMATION!"

Max slowly went to where Jane's hands are. She grabbed them and pulled her up. Zack and Ryan ran up to Amber and Katie.

"Don't worry we got Ryan's girl scout rope."

"BOY scouts!"

"Alright, coming down!"

Zack threw down the rope hitting Max making her fall.

"SITUATION!"

Jane grabbed her feet and pulled her up. They stood up.

"THANKS," Max yelled to Zack sarcastically.

They tied the rope around them. Zack and Ryan pulled them up and helped them through the window.

"Are you guys okay?"

"Yeah."

"Obviously."

Then they started crying. Zack pushed them together and they hugged.
