S6 E1: College

"Look at all these new people," Jack said.

"No," Zack said.

"Why not?"

"Because you're getting all interested in everybody."

"What's wrong with getting interested with people?"

"Because you're supposed to be pretend interested in how many people we already know."

"You're only pretend interested in people?"

"Yeah, everyone's more comfortable that way watch."

They went down the stairs.

"Hey you."

"Hey you."

He faked laughed and they kept going.

"Now watch this. How are you?"

"How are you?"

"No I really mean it, how are you?"

"Back off."

"Okay get out of my life."

He left.

"I look out at the sea of new students and explore the potential of new friends for us. What would you like?"

"I would like everyone to mind their own business."

"Don't you think that someone around here could be a wonderful new friend for us?"

"I would have to learn names. I'm still learning Maya! It's Maya right?"

"We are going to make one new friend, if we make one new friend for the rest of the year, what will we have?"

"Lice, we will have lice I guarantee you. My hair is way too long now to make new friends."

Jack spun around.

"So whose it gonna be? Who's the person that's going to be blessed with our special kind of friendship?"

"I wouldn't force that on anybody."

"Walk with me."

They went up to a girl. Jack tapped on her shoulder. She turned around and smiled.

"Hi, morning, my name is Jack Brewer and this is my friend Zack Morris."

"Sup."

"I wanted to introduce myself for the warmest invitation to be our friend."

She gave him a confused look.

"I really like what your wearing. Great hair, nice eyes, good knees."

Zack smiled and looked at him in confusion.

"Be our friend?"

She smiled at him.

"Watch this Zack, this is how new friendships are born."

"I don't like him at all."

"She, she don't like me."

"Watch whatever happens next."

Jack backed away. He sighed and walked back up to them.

"Hey Zack whose this? A new friend of yours? Well any friend of Zack's is a friend of mine. Hi I'm Jack."

"Wow," She said as Zack slid down the wall and held his arms out.

She left. Jack fell to the floor. He crawled into Zack's arms and Zack stroked his hair.

"And they lived here for the rest of their lives."

*Plays theme song*

"Knock knock."

"Whose there?"

"Someone doesn't like me."

"Someone doesn't like me who?"

"What's the difference? I don't have time for games."

"You're being ridiculous."

"Oh great thank you so much, I'm fixed forever."

"You can't have everyone like you."

"Why not?"

"Because you can't control the world, the only person you can control is yourself and how you react."

"You're right and this is how I choose to react."

Jack started hyperventilating and Zack wrapped his arms around him before it could happen.

"Lee la lu la la, lay your head down you little nut job. Wake up when you're normal lee la lu," Zack sang.

"What did I ever to her Zack?"

"Who knows. Who cares. Let it go."

Jack fell asleep. Zack's phone rang.

"Oh yay."

Jack sat up.

"Zack I had the worst dream."

The girl came out.

"You were in my dream!"

"Don't dream about me, I don't like you."

She left. Jack started hyperventilating and Zack wrapped his arms around him. Slater, Jerry, Jane, and Hunter went up to them.

"We found you, how's it going?"

"Someone doesn't like Jack, we have Art and Design, and my legs are asleep."

Jerry grabbed his hands and carried Jack away. Slater helped Zack up and carried him away. Jane motioned Hunter. Hunter smiled and jumped on Jane. They both fell down. Jane stood up, grabbed his legs, and dragged him away.

After class

"I am going to make that girl like me if it's the last thing I do."

"Jack you can't control people," Austin said.

"I'm just going to have a little chat with her."

He left.

"Isn't it weird that all of us got in the same college," Austin asked.

"It's weirder that Jonah got into college," Zack said.

At the café

Jack went up to the girl.

"Hey girl I still don't know."

"I still don't like you."

"Well, I like you."

He walked away and she smiled. He sat down next to Zack.

"I'm proud of you buddy."

"Yeah, I can't control everybody."

"You're welcome," Austin said.

They laughed.
