BILLIE POV

I woke up to the sound of the bedroom door opening, it was Finneas. He glanced at me then quickly to the girl laying in my arms. Katherine was still asleep. I held my finger to my lips telling him to stay quiet.

"another one?"Finneas says in a whisper

"Finn-" I pause when I feel Katherine start to move, "get out"

Finneas leaves closing the door behind him.

KATHERINES POV

I kept my eyes closed not wanting Billie to know I was awake. But did Finneas really mean what he said?

"another one"

was this something Billie usually did?

I was just starting to like her and I thought maybe she liked me too... but I guess not. Last night obviously meant more to me than it did to her. Who was I kidding, why would Billie like someone like me? She's gorgeous and famous and I'm just a mess.

I feel like an idiot.

I opened my eyes and turned to stare at the ceiling unable to make eye contact with Billie.

"morning" Billie said, " did you sleep okay... you were tossing and turning a lot."

" yeah, I'm fine." I snapped

I kept dreaming about the night before with Bryan, but I wasn't going to tell her that now... she wouldn't care. I jumped out of her arms.

" I have to go" I said quickly

" What's wrong? You just got up. At least have something to eat." Billie said trying to make me stay

"Oh, am I one of the lucky one's that get to stay for breakfast." I said in a bitter tone.

"So you heard that huh?" Billie said looking at the floor

" Save it. It's fine we barely know each other anyway." I said rushing out of the room heading towards the front door

"Katherine wait! How are you gonna get home? Let me give you a ride" Billie said rushing after me in the street.

She grabbed my arm where the bruises from Bryan remained.

I felt a sharp pain in my wrist forcing me to turn back. Billie let go immediately.

" It's not like that" she said in a calmer tone.

" I know it's not and that's why I'm leaving. How could I be so stupid to think it was anything more." My voice began to break, " I was foolish to believe you saw me the way I saw you. But you obviously see me the way everyone else does... the way Bryan did."

A tear dropped from my eye.
