Because I need something to relax me for exams. (Also, this is post-reveal)
———————————————————————Marinette groaned as she buried her face into one of her open textbooks. Final exams were right around the corner and even though she was, surprisingly, studying for a couple months, she still felt extremely anxious about not remembering anything.
She felt like she had been studying for forever, but what else was she going to do anyway? At least she was getting something done...somewhat.
Marinette jolted her head up a few minutes later from a knocking on the trapdoor above her. She recognized the knocking pattern immediately and looked over at the clock on her desk, noticing what time it was.
She squeaked quietly, rushing up to her trapdoor and opening it, coming face-to-face with the superhero clad in black 'leather'.
He had a pout upon his lips and Marinette instantly knew what he was going to say.
"I know, I know..." Marinette spoke quickly. "I'm late for patrol and I almost forgot about it all together, but I've been studying."
Chat rolled his eyes playfully. "You've been studying for months; take a break!"
"But, Adrien—"
"Nope!" Chat grabbed her hand and gently tugged her up onto her balcony. "You're finishing patrol with me whether you want to or not." He grinned.
Marinette sighed and shook her head, calling upon her transformation and transforming into her own superhero persona. "Alright, alright. Let's go; you lead."
He had narrowed his eyes for a moment. "Okay..." he said, reluctantly. "But if I look back and I see that you're not there for some reason, I will come right back here and get you."
"You wouldn't..."
Chat arched a brow and crossed his arms. "Oh, you know I would do that."
This gave Ladybug a silent idea that could ease her mind from the anxieties of studying, but she sighed and reluctantly agreed with him. She let him take the lead for patrol- mostly because she didn't know what he had already checked- and continued to silent formulate a fun plan. As far as she knew, he had no idea what she was thinking.
Which was correct. As he occasionally looked back at his partner in fighting crime, he saw her gentle smile, signifying that she wasn't going to do anything to be mean to him.
Goodness gracious, she could seem so innocent.
But as soon as they were about to turn a corner, Ladybug latched her yo-yo onto a nearby object like she was going to swing around, but instead swung down into the alleyway below as Chat turned the corner.
Knowing that she got away, it was time for part two; turn this into hide-and-seek.
It was perfect! She could hide away, half be alert and half be looking down at her yo-yo screen to study from whatever notes and documents she had online.
Ladybug smirked, quickly running off. She hid in a somewhat dark corner on a rooftop towards the edge of Paris. Once she figured she had a really good spot, she opened her yo-yo and dimmed the screen light before beginning to study.
It didn't take long for Chat to notice his lady was gone. He had turned the corner and made a few small jumps before looking back and having to do a double take as he realized she wasn't there. He huffed, immediately thinking she went back to her house and quickly made his way back there.
When he arrived, he saw that she wasn't there either and he blinked in confusion. He figured she would have been there.
He stood on her balcony for a few minutes, tapping his foot before getting an idea. He grabbed his baton and pulled up a map of Paris and zoomed out. He smirked when he saw that she had forgot to turn her location off when hiding.
"You think you're so sneaky, Princess..." he mumbled, shaking his head with a slight chuckle. He immediately started to make his way to her location.
———
Once nearby, he was as silent as possible as he walked across the rooftops, just barely seeing the faint light of her yo-yo screen as she hid.
Chat carefully crawled around the corner, ready to scare her before seeing that she had fallen asleep. Her yo-yo screen lit up to her own map and the setting to turn on her location.
So she did have it off... He thought as he picked up her yo-yo, gently put it back around her waist and then picked her up bridal-style.
Ladybug always looked peaceful while sleeping- unless she was having a nightmare, of course- Chat noticed. The way her eyes looked like they had just fluttered close and how her whole body looked very relaxed.
She looked even more peaceful snuggled up with her soft blankets of her bed, Chat reminded himself, holding onto her and making his way back to her house.
Chat laid her down in her bed back at her house, gently coaxing her out of her transformation so Tikki could get some rest as well.
Marinette almost immediately cuddled with her blankets after her transformation disappeared, but frowned faintly.
Chat saw the frown and stroked her cheek softly, watching as she nuzzled against his hand slightly and whined in her sleep when he pulled his hand away.
Seeing this made him chuckle quietly. He released his transformation and cuddled up with her, feeling her turn over to face him and bury her face into his chest before falling asleep right beside her.

Just a fun, fluffy one shot.
This was to help me with my exams because I just had four of them this week and now I'm done school until I go to summer school (July 1) so I don't have to a full semester of phys.ed.
