Valentine's Day Special - Adrienette Date

Just a cute, fluffy one-shot for Valentine's Day. :) This is also post-reveal.

Marinette hummed softly to herself as she sat on the rug that was on her bedroom floor in front of her mirror as she styled her hair. She had gotten into hairstyling a little over a year or so ago and had practiced on herself and Alya so many times that she had a lot of hairstyles memorized.

Adrien had told her that he something special planned for the two of them today, which is why she was getting fancy, but he hadn't told her what he had planned. That is why Marinette chose an outfit and hairstyle that was not too fancy but not too casual.

Tikki had been giggling randomly at several different times so far and her actions confused Marinette.

"Do you know something that I don't?" Marinette asked after a while, raising an eyebrow at the small Kwami that was sitting on the makeshift bed that was on Marinette's desk.

Tikki shook her head at her miraculous holder. "Nope!" She beamed, smiling innocently.

"O-kay...?" Marinette hesitated a little before going back to doing the hairstyle she had planned on doing.

Tikki smiled and flew downstairs without saying a word, presumably to get cookies or something like that was Marinette's thought process.

Once Marinette was finished getting ready, she threw on one of her small, over-the-shoulder bags that she made about a year ago (it's a different one from the show) that matched her outfit, slipping her phone inside just in case and heading downstairs to wait for Adrien.

Marinette's mother and father were out for Valentine's Day already, so it was just her and Tikki in the house. Marinette didn't mind, it meant that Tikki could fly around without having to worry about getting caught.

That would take a lot of explaining...

Marinette could only imagine how the talk with her parents would go if they found out she was Ladybug. She didn't even have a clue how they'd react!

Good thing they don't know yet.

Marinette sat on a stool at the kitchen counter, playing on her phone to pass time.

Marinette jolted in her seat a little when she heard the doorbell ring. Looking at the time, she realized it was a few minutes before the time Adrien said he was going be there.

He must be early, Marinette thought.

Marinette hopped off her seat slightly, making her way to the front door, opening it to reveal Adrien standing there. Plagg, who was originally sitting on Adrien's shoulder, waved a little as a greeting before flying inside to find Tikki.

Adrien chuckled a little, handing a rose out to Marinette. "For you, m'lady."

Marinette blinked before smiling and gently taking the rose from Adrien, smelling it. "Why thank you, kitty." She kissed his cheek.

Adrien grinned like a dork. "You're cute."

Marinette blushed a little. "Oh, hush, kitty cat."

"Feisty," Adrien teased.

Marinette playfully rolled her eyes at him, giggling a little in response.

Adrien faked a look of pain. "Oh, you wound me, Princess!"
