Seasonal Special - Spring

Ladybug grumbled under her breath as she dodged the Akuma's attacks, watching as- moments later- large, unnatural-looking grass and vines broke through the concrete roads like a trail behind the Akuma's attacks. This Akuma was absolutely terrible and would not give up at all!

Adrien was currently in Spain for a really important spring photo shoot so he couldn't help me with this, which sucks because lately the Akuma have been rough.

Ladybug grunted and let out a slight gasp as she was thrown against a wall, back first and the back of her head hit the wall and she saw a bright light for a moment. She collapsed to the ground, regaining her breath a little bit before having to dodge another attack. She knew there were other people watching and taking videos, Alya was probably among them or maybe was the only one.

And someone help me, I am never going to hear the end of it when Adrien finds out... She thought to herself. He'll be so worried but kind of mad that I was acting so much on offence.

Ladybug huffed, dodging a few more attacks before getting thrown back again. Hitting the back of her head against a concrete wall, again. But this time, she collapsed to the ground and blacked out for a few moments.

When she regained consciousness, her vision was blurred and she could just barely make out a spiked vine headed her way. Even before she could move, something happened that was too blurred in Ladybug's vision to understand and the Akuma retracted the vine and she heard it shout angrily at someone else.

When she tried to move again, she felt a searing pain in her back and sides, the pain also in her legs as she let out a choked gasp, collapsing onto the ground.

Ladybug had no idea how long she was laying there or even what had happened that made the Akuma retract that spiked vine, but she could only hope that it was going well.

A few minutes later, the sounds of the Akuma stopped and Ladybug heard the sound of quick footsteps headed towards her. She could feel someone's presence and she tried to move and say something but all that she let out was a weak and painful cry.

"Shh, shh, shhhhh," The person shushed her. "It's okay, I won't hurt you; I took care of the Akuma for you." The person paused before speaking again. "Don't speak, alright? You're throat must be a bit sore, but, uh, where's your yo-yo? I gotta break this and purify the Akuma."

Ladybug whimpered a little, shifting her body to carefully remove her yo-yo from around her waist and aimlessly hand it to whoever she was talking to; her mind was a little fuzzy and she had a hard time distinguishing voices, they all sounded the same to her.

The unknown person gently took her yo-yo from her and Ladybug could faintly hear their voice as they de-evilized the Akuma. Then, they walked back over to her. "Can you detransform, possibly? I hear some people calling out to the injured and I wanna make sure they take you in."

Ladybug numbly nodded and mumbled the words quickly before she transformed back, letting out a gasp of pain as she wanted to just curl up and cry.

The person gently shushed her again, calling over- to who she could only assume were paramedics and people like that- that someone was injured. She then heard the footsteps of more people and then her body being carefully moved, and though they were careful, she still let out small whimpers of pain.

"Don't worry, dear," the unknown person gently grabbed her hand. "You're being taken to the hospital, okay?"

She could only numbly nod before fully passing out right then and there...
