Chat Noir sighed, slowly walking across the Parisian rooftops.

He had recently got into a fight with his father over his modelling career, again, and had been sent to his room for the night. He decided to transform and do a small patrol. He hadn't even realized he was at Marinette's house until his enhanced hearing heard her humming along to a song in her bedroom. He made his way down to her window, watching her as she was sewing. He didn't want to scare her while she was in the middle of sewing something, so he crouched silently at her window, watching her with a smile on his face. Eventually, she put the needle and thread she was holding down as she started to look for something. Chat got out of view from the window and moved up to her balcony, knocking lightly on her trapdoor. She must have heard because it didn't take long for her to open up, smiling as she saw Chat.

"Greetings, Chat. What brings a superhero to my house? Is there an Akuma I should be worried about?"

"Nah, there's no worry there, Purrincess. I just thought I'd come by." Something strange flickered across Chat's eyes as he spoke, but he said nothing about it.

Marinette noticed it though. "Chat...? What's wrong? You know you can tell me.."

Chat frowned slightly, hopping inside Marinette's room and sitting on her bed. "Just another fight with my father, nothing much." He shrugged.

Marinette frowned as well, sitting next to him and petting his hair. "Poor kitty...don't worry I'm right here for you."

Chat tried to not purr, giving up and letting out a soft purr. "Princess....!" He whined.

Marinette giggled, scratching behind his ear since she knew that was his sensitive spot.

Chat purred louder, biting his lip to try and stop himself; it didn't work.

"That's cute," Marinette smiled. "Wanna watch a movie, kitten?"

Chat's face lit up, nuzzling against Marinette. "I sure would! Can I pick? Pawease!"

Marinette giggled. "Okay, okay! You go pick."

Chat smiled, getting up and walking over to Marinette's movie shelf. He looked at all the movies before pulling out one. "How about 'Coco'?" (Coco is my current favourite movie)

Marinette chuckled. "Sure! I love that one!"

"Yay!" Chat cheered, coming back up Marinette's loft stairs.

"Sit," Marinette patted the spot next to her, cuddling up with a blanket. "I wanna cuddle.." she said shyly.

Chat smiled, snuggling up to Marinette and wrapping his arms comfortingly around her. "I like cuddles, there's no need to be shy about it."

Marinette blushed slightly when he pointed out how shy she sounded, mentally kicking herself. Nonetheless, she put the DVD into her laptop, laying her head on Chat's shoulder.

They watched the movie peacefully. It was getting towards the end when Marinette yawned, shaking her head and staying awake to watch the ending of the movie. She told herself to stay awake until the credits, then she could fall asleep. There were about ten minutes left in the movie and she started to doze off. Chat noticed and stroked her hair, flinching when she snapped up slightly so she could see the ending. Chat smiled, to him, the girl was so cute with how she acted.

Eventually, the credits started rolling and Marinette's mind thanked the heavens above before going out like a lightbulb, sleeping against Chat's shoulder.

Chat chuckled silently. He put away the movie and Marinette's laptop and tucked Marinette into bed. He watched her turn onto her side and curl up into a ball, cuddling a blanket since he had left her side. He smiled, kissing her forehead and leaving a little note before leaving through her trapdoor, making sure it didn't slam shut before hopping off into the night with a bright smile on his face.

Marinette woke up the next morning not very tried for once. She sat up and rubbed her eye before looking around. She figured Chat had to leave for the night. She turned to pick up her phone when she saw a sticky note on the back of it. It read:

Good morning, Princess! Hope you slept well. I had to leave for the night in case my transformation wore off and you saw my secret identity, that wouldn't be good. I know you'd understand that, but I thought I let you know. Have a good day! ~Chat

Marinette smiled at the note, sticking it onto her board with pictures of memories that she loved that was right next to her bed. She got ready for the day and spent her whole day with a smile on her face, only really thinking about the note Chat had left her.
