~Alexander POV~
After history Alexander Hamilton decided to go to lockers not to pick up books, but to give Eliza a note which he had made in history after he finished the quiz, which he thought was fairly easy for someone who had been forced to read a Greek Myths book in late middle school by his teachers. He was surprised that he retained a lot of the information. After Mr. Miller announced the quiz, Alex had looked at Eliza and saw her smile to herself. He assumed that she had remembered the myths too, since they had been in the same middle school class.
After he finished, he saw that Eliza had already completed the quiz and was reading Les Misérables, his favorite musical, even though he had never read the book. He stared at her, hoping that she wouldn't notice. Alex has had a crush on Eliza since he saw first saw her, back in fifth grade. He'd barely even talked to her, and he could tell that she hated him and his friends Aaron Burr, Lafayette, Thomas Jefferson, and Hercules Mulligan. His only friend that didn't seem to infuriate her was John Laurens, which made Alex a little jealous of John. He didn't see why he couldn't even be friends with his crush, even though she didn't know that he liked her. Alex also didn't see any reason for Eliza to hate any of his friends, except for maybe Thomas Jefferson, whom he had heard rumors about. Apparently, Jefferson once tried to make a move on Eliza, flirting with her several times. If Alex had to pick one thing that he resented Jefferson for, it would probably be that. The rumors also said that Eliza had hardcore rejected Jefferson. That made Alex nervous about telling Eliza he liked her. He was afraid that she might turn him down and break his heart.
Alex found Eliza's locker, number 57, at least he hoped that he had slipped the note into the right one. He walked a little further down the hallway, then left for his next class after he had seen Eliza read the note.
~ Eliza POV~
After Eliza's next three classes was lunch. By that time, she had forgotten all about the note in her locker, and didn't ask Alexander Hamilton about it. She sat with her sisters and Theodosia, her only true friend besides her sisters, as she always did.
~Angelica POV~
Angelica sat with her sisters and Theodosia at lunch while trying to ignore Lafayette's several attempts to flirt with her. Angie lowered her gaze to the floor to avoid Laff's eyes and noticed a blue piece of paper sticking out of Eliza's pocket. She pulled it out.
" What's this, Liza?" Angie asked her sister.
Eliza looked at the note before remembering where it was from.
" I found it in my locker." Eliza said.
" Do you know who it's from?" Peggy asked Eliza.
Eliza shook her head and Angelica flipped it over and studied the initials on the back. She pointed it out to her sisters and Theodosia.
" Who is A.H.?" Theo asked.
Angelica turned to Peggy and Theo with a wide-eyed look. Alexander Hamilton she mouthed. Theo and Peggy nodded, sly smiles on their faces.
"So..." Angelica started. " Do you have an idea of who A.H. is?"
Eliza flinched. "Well..." she muttered, " I thought I saw Alex put something in my locker, but-"
Angie grinned and left the table, making her way to where Alex and his friends sat.
