Chapter 10: Melodramatic

Gumball's POV
"Hey guys, mind if I go grab something?" I asked.
"No problem, go ahead," Lulu said, "I'll be helping Sky."
"Alright cool, brb!" I said, and scuttled away to the closet.

I went to my section of the enormous kingdom, and began looking through my bags, "I just need to find my kånken..."
"Should be around here somewhere. Oh- here it is!"
Happily, I pulled out my backpack and slung it around my shoulder. As soon as I was about to leave, a giant bang came from the bottom end of the room. My heart dropped, sinking into a pit.
"Hello?" I asked.

The bang came again.

My heart raced. I raced...out of the room as fast as I could.

Everyone was in the living room, sitting together.
Lulu looked up at me, "Gum? You okay?"
I shook my head, "Someone - someone's in our house!"
Suspense hit the room like a heatwave.
"It's weird, everything is linking up," Lulu said, scratching her chin.
I nodded, "First this happens to Sky. Wait. Hang on. Rose- do you still have that hair dye box?"
"Yeah," she said, "Shall I get it?"
"Please, it's important."
Rose walked over to the kitchen cabinets and pulled out the box. She returned, handing it me.

Instantly, I began tracing the words.
"Magical hair dye. 14+. Does not cause any itching, or rashes of any sort. Suitable for sensitive skin. 100% safe'," I read aloud.
Sky gasped, "Then why did I grow a beard?!"
"Wait a minute," I muttered, "What if someone swapped the dye out for something else?"
"Right!" Rose agreed, "Sky, what was the colour of your shampoo?"
She sighed, "Brown."

"Brown?" Lulu and Rose cried in unison.
"No way," Lulu said, "The colour was supposed to be red. A vibrant red, we saw it ourselves! There's no way."
"I'm telling you!" I exclaimed, "Someone's in here!"

Rose snarled, "We need to report it! We could be in serious danger."
Sky snickered, "Stop overreacting. So melodramatic."
I sighed, and decided to propose an idea, "Let's investigate it ourselves?"
Rose shook her head immediately. "
"Look. I know I'm going to do some investigating, it will be awesome. On my own or with you guys, I'm still going to do it!" Sky exclaimed.
Lulu nodded in agreement, "Yeah. Can't leave Sky on her own in there."
The decision was once again left in my hands, "Gotta' say, I'm with them on this one."

Rose sniffed, "Ugh. Okay."

"Great!" Sky squealed, "Can someone get Lily or Lucinda to uh..fix this mess please."
I frowned, "They don't have the power to fix this situation?.."
"You are one dummy. I'm talking about the mess on my face!" Sky exclaimed.
