Chapter 20: How to find a bandaid

Lulu's POV
What had just happened? I wanted to cry. Scream. We had all been injured. And worst, none of us could save our best friend.
I panted heavily, "What are we going to do, Gum?"
Gumball looked at me, and shook her head, "I don't know. I really don't know."
I turned around and looked at Sky. She was knocked out, but breathing.
"Help me carry her into her bed," I said to Gumball, "I hurt my leg."
Gum nodded, "We need to talk - all of us."
We went over to Sky, "3,2,1!"
We lifted her up and hobbled to the bedroom.

Sky was in her bed, still knocked out.
"Gum...your face!" I said, staggering back, "I'll get you some tissue..wait here."
Gumball shook her head, "No. You've hurt your leg."
"And you've hurt your face!" I insisted, "We both need to rest."

"I'm gonna' make some hot chocolate, so if you want a bandaid or tissue, let me know like now," I said, sighing.
This place was supposed to be magical. Why now did everything change? Goblins? Portals? Kidnappings?
Gum eventually gave in, "Yeah. Get me the whole box of bandaids please, I'm going to need quite a few of them, right?"
I laughed, "Right! Watch Sky please, I don't want another kidnapping to take place."

I hobbled into the kitchen, careful & cautious. I went over to the kitchen cupboards and rummaged through each of them: couldn't remember where the medical kit was. Cups? No. Tins? No. Plates? No. Hot chocolate kit? Oh yes I needed that! Final cupboard: the medical kit had better be in there. I opened it, and out jumped Jewels!

"Ahh!" I screamed, catching Jewels.
Suddenly, Gumball ran in the kitchen, "What?! What happened?!"
I turned around to look at her...with Jewels in my hands.
"AH!" Gumball screamed, staggering back, "How did he get h-?!"
"I DONT KNOW HOW HE GOT HERE! HE WENT INTO THE PORTAL!" I screamed, dropping the baby dragon on the table.
I ran to Gumball, hiding behind her. Suddenly, the dragon cleared its throat, coughing.

"A...I...you..." It said.
I frowned.
"What?" I said, walking slowly up to it with a frying pan.
"I...Am...Real Jewel- Jewels. Other dra- dragon is... Fake. It...it was gob- goblin!"
Whoa. That was overwhelming news.
"That's impossible!" I exclaimed.
"Yeah!"
The dragon cleared its throat once again, "Beli..ef. Me!"
"Believe you?" Gumball asked, "Why?"
"I..I Jewels. You g..gum! Sh..sh-she Loo - Loo!" It said.
I dropped my pan, and turned to Gumball, "It really is Jewels!"
Her eyes widened.

I rushed up to the dragon and held it close.
