Chapter 32: Spa Time

Gumball's POV
We got in our dorm, and immediately dumped our bags on the living room table.
"So," I began, "I have a surprise."
The girls turned to me, frowning, puzzled.
"We're going to the school spa! I booked it just for us!"
Their frowns turned to wide grins.
"Really?"
I nodded, "Yup!"
"How long do we intend on staying there?" asked Rose, "it's a great surprise, but it's already 9am!"
I smiled, "We'll be there for a solid 5 hours."
The girls gasped.
"Don't worry!" I exclaimed, "There's heaps to do there!"
"When are we going to the spa?" Shaina asked, sipping the remains of her milkshake.
"In an hour," I said, "We just need to wait."
"Alright, cool."

10am
"Come on guys!" Sky shouted, "You guys ready?"
Hurriedly, me & the other rushed to Sky, "K, we've got everything. Let's go."

10:30am
So, update: we were in the spa, welcomed & greeted by the workers.
"Hello there, ladies!" A fairy said, softly, "Welcome to the Royale High Spa. May I see your tickets? Just to ensure you ladies are the ones who reserved the spot."
"Of course," I replied, digging into my handbag.
I fished for one ticket, stating we reserved this spa for five hours. The fairy grabbed my ticket, reading it, "Okie dokie! Now, follow me."
She beckoned us to follow her, whilst another person began closing the door behind us.

"Here," she began, "Is the changing / locker room. Take a robe, ladies."
I grabbed a robe, pulling it down from the shelf, "Thank you."
"Of course."
As soon as we all grabbed a robe each, the fairy flew to the door, "Change into your robes, and then meet us outside. We'll show you around."
She went outside, shutting the door behind her.
"Guess we better slip into our robes?" Sky suggested, "Ooh, look! They have swim suits to wear underneath!"
"Pass us them, Sky," Rose asked, reaching for them, "Thanks!"

Just as we were about to leave, I immediately noticed an open door to my right, "Um, what's this?"
The girls turned to where I was looking. Hurriedly, they approached me.
"Let's take a look!" Sky pleaded, "It's only a door."

"No!" I exclaimed, "Remember what happened last time?"
Sky frowned, "Ugh. Fine."
"No - wait!" Lulu said, "It's a mini storage room thing!"
Sky regained interest, rushing beside Lulu. She peered inside, and then yelped, "Rabbit slippers and head towels!"
My eyes lit up. I was a fool for slippers.

We were each matching - Bunny slippers. Head towels. Robes. I felt so iconic. It was a great feeling.
"Let's go now, I'm super excited!" I squealed, "Come on!"

Expectedly, when we arrived outside, we were once again greeted by the fairy.
"Hiya!" She exclaimed, "You figured out where the slippers and head towels were? Nice!"
"Yup," Shaina said, "Couldn't help ourselves."
Rose nodded, "Right. We're total suckers for cosiness."
The fairy laughed, "I gathered that, ha-ha! Now, follow me into here..."

"Here," she began again, "Is the main room. There's a massive mud bath here - clearly. There's also another big bath, this time it's steamed lavender! There's some showers to wash off the mud. There's also hair stations in here for blowouts, hair & head massages, and hair masks. Ooh, also, there's a big heat radiator sort of thing that dries you."

She led us into another room, "This is the essentials room: there's face masks that can be applied by our workers, manicure stations, pedicure stations, skin facials & back massages."

Then another room.
"The sauna..."

And then...

"The final room," she began, introducing us, "Is one room dedicated to the hot stones treatment. It's so good."

Five minutes later
"So," The fairy began, "That's all. However, you do have five hours to spend here, so take as long as you need. See you around!"
"Bye!" We said in unison.
She flapped her wings away, disappearing into the distance.
"Where to first?" Sky asked, tapping her slippers.
"I don't know about you, but I'm craving a mud bath!" Lulu yelped, "I'm gonna go in it."
"Same," Shaina agreed, "I haven't had a good mud bath in a while."
Rose shrugged, "I'm going to get a facial massage."
"I'll join you," I said.
Sky sighed, "I'm not going alone, so I'm probably gonna have a facial massage."
"Alright, done & dusted!" I said. "See ya later guys."
