Chapter 36: Roomies

Sky's POV
When I walked in the living room, Rose, Shaina and Gumball were nowhere to be seen. The lights were off. Suddenly, the lights came on and out jumped the girls with party hats.
"CONGRATS!" They screamed.
Lulu joined me, laughing, "She deserved it!"
"100% she did!" Shaina said, patting me on the back, "We are so proud of you!"
"Thanks guys," I said, "But, I have so much to say."
"Come on, let's go on the balcony!" Rose suggested, tugging on my hair.
"Oww!"
"Wait," Lulu began, "Can me and Sky change into something else please, I don't feel very comfortable in a dress."
"Meet us on the balcony," Rose said.

Alright, so I had a big issue. I didn't know whether to wear my pikachu onesie, or my matching panda pyjamas. Lulu was already ready, slipping on some furry slippers.
"Sky, hurry! I can't contain my excitement!" she hissed, "The whole time I got ready, you were choosing an outfit!"
"I still am."
"EXACTLY! LOOK, ILL PICK FOR YOU!"
Ironically enough, she pulled out my matching panda set, "Get them on."

Finally. We were all together in the balcony, staring at the stars.
"Such a pretty night," Rose said, taking a gigantic sip of hot chocolate.
"You have a milk moustache!" I exclaimed.
Her eyes widened, and immediately she wiped it on her sleeve.
"Gone?"
"Yup!"
"So, where do we begin?" I asked.
Lulu crossed her legs and leant back in her chair, "Well, wake up early tomorrow guys, we have an assembly."
"Ah, yes," I said, "Someone please wake me up tomorrow."

Lulu continued, "We also have camping tomorrow night so we'll have to check out where our tent is."
"Wait, what?" Shaina asked, "Camping?"
"Yup, our dorm (basically just us) will be sharing a tent so uh yeah! We go camping every Saturday," Gumball said.
"Oh, thank you."
"Now, let's talk about Sky and lover boy..." Lulu exclaimed, uncrossing her legs.
"LOVER BOY?!" the rest screamed in unison.
"SHUSH!" I hissed, "It's literally 10 at night."
"Spill it," demanded Gumball.

"So, I was the prom queen and I was next to the prom king, Deku, he started talking to me and we're pretty similar. He goes to Hero Academy!"
Shaina gasped, "I know who you're talking about! I've met Deku before! He goes to BNHA!"
"Omgomg!" I whispered, "I'm attracted to him. He suggested we go down to his academy."
"Where even is it though?"
I smirked, "Opposite the forest in Earth. The forest where our portal is."

"Ahhh!" Shaina said, "We should definitely go. I have this biggest crush on Karcchan."
"Oh, um, who's that?" Lulu asked.
"Deku's classmate."
"Ohhh."

"Wow, that star is pretty," Rose whispered, pointing up.
The night sky hung above us like an unwashed rag. Oh, how delightful.
"I agree, Ro," Lulu said, "Stars really are a gift to us."
Gumball yawned, "I don't know about you, but I'm tired as hell. I'm going to bed, night roomies."
"Wait for me, I'm coming!" Rose said, chasing after her.
"Night!" I called.

"Stars really are a delicacy." Shaina whispered, curling up on the rocking chair, "I like that nickname. Star. Hey, do you think I should call myself that? Like how you guys have nicknames."
I raised my eyebrows in delight, "Yes, that's so adorable. Star, Lulu, Sky, Gumball and Rose. Extraordinary friends."
"Forever and ever," Lulu whispered, "We'll start calling you Star from now on."

"Hey, me and Star are going to head to bed," Lulu said, "See ya' later, Sky. I'll wake you up tomorrow."
"Catch ya later."

Authors note - Shaina is now going to be called Star. She will be referred to as Star, for example "Star's POV". Also, in the story Gumball Sky and Rose now know of Shaina's new nickname. Oki byeeee. Ily.
