Rose's POV
BEEP. BEEP. BEEP. My alarm clock went off.
"Ugh," I groaned.
"Turn it off," I heard Lulu mumble, "It's too early."
I squinted my eyes at the alarm clock, talking a double-look, "It's 8am. We have to get up. Assembly is in like an hour, get up, get up!"
I jumped out of bed, and started hitting my pillow at Lulu until she opened her eyes.
"Alright, alright!" she laughed, pushing me away, "Help me wake the others up."

Shuffling in my fluffy socks, I made my way to Sky, "Sky, get up. We overslept."
She groaned, "Ugh. What time is it?"
"8am."
Her eyes opened wide, bulging, "Assembly is usually at 9, we need to get ready, oh gosh!"

Eventually, everyone was awake, looking through their closets for clothes.
"Someone check the weather forecast, please," asked Gumball, whilst she was pulling out shirts.
I whipped out my phone and checked, "It says all day there will be snow."
Gumball gasped, "Guys. We are camping tonight. It's a must. Get into something warm and cosy."

I had no problem picking out my outfit: it was a simple dress with a plain pink coat. Minimalistic. It wasn't ideal for camping, but I planned to change into my camping clothes later. We had assembly and I really didn't want to turn up with fishing gear. I guess I wouldn't be surprised if Sky did. But, that's Sky, not me.

"Guys," I said, "It's 8:57. We need to make our way to assembly NOW!"
Rapidly, the five of us rushed downstairs, and lined up outside the hall. We weren't exactly the first there, but we weren't late either.

We were let into the hall, greeted by Mr Woodland, "Welcome ladies! Please take a seat on the left-hand side."
As I took a seat, I noticed the windows were iced with snow: thin sheets of frost were caking the windows' glass. Snow was falling quickly onto the ground, creating a bigger layer of snow.

Once the whole hall was filled, Mr Woodland came on stage, "Good morning. For today's assembly, there will be multiple 'announcements', so please listen. Firstly, prom."
I turned to Sky who was awkwardly shuffling in her seat, grabbing her hands.

"Deku Izuku and Sky Grace were both prom king & queen! Round of applause for them!"
The whole hall flooded with applause, cheers and whistles. When the noise settled down, Mr Woodland cleared his throat, once again adjusting his tie, "Deku's dorm and Sky's dorm will be awarded with a badge and a £150 cheque to buy some more food."

"Next, topic," he continued, "Camping. Camping tonight will be cancelled due to weather conditions. Please spread this news to those students who do not know. Thank you."
"And finally...the biggest announcement..."
I was on the edge of my seat, hoping that what he would announce would be exciting.
"CHRISTMAS!"
I was disappointed. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Christmas. I adore it. But, I expected something else, not just that Christmas is near. We already knew it was near. In fact, it was three days away.

"I'm not finished," he said, "Today, you will each be allowed to go out shopping for Christmas. You will also be given an additional £20, and postcards to send home to your family."
The crowd cheered, including me. Yesss! Christmas shopping.
"As Christmas is on Thursday, you are now officially on Christmas break. No lessons for 2weeks."

This is when I started screaming in total happiness.
"YES QUEEN!" Lulu shouted.
"One more thing," Mr Woodland said, "Christmas food is being served in the canteen. You can purchase build your own gingerbread houses on the Royale High app & website. Christmas trees will be on sale on the Royale High website also. Now, you may exit! Have a good day students!"
