Chapter 38: Mrs Berry

Rose's POV
"So, when do we go out shopping?" I asked, lounging on our dorm's sofa.
"I think we should go out like now," Sky suggested, "People will be rushing to get Christmas presents. We oughta' go before everyone takes them all."
"I agree," Star said.
"Guess we're getting our shopping bags," Lulu said.
Gumball smiled, "Let's grab everything we need and then we'll be ready to go.

So, now we were waiting outside for our cab to come. Sky was slurping on some tea, clearly bored.
"Is that our cab?" Star asked, pointing. I looked in her direction, and there was a pink car with glittery intricate designs painted on the side.
"Let's go ask," I said, dragging my friends with me.

I approached the car, and gently tapped on the window. The window was suddenly rolled down, and inside was... Mrs Berry.
"Hello, ladies! Where we off to?" she said, plugging out her earphones.
"Well, is this our...cab?" I asked.
"Unless your name isn't Rose, then yes it is your cab."
"Alright, cool," I said, "Everyone get in."

We climbed in, and was ready to go.
"Swan High Street please," Lulu said, plugging in her seatbelt.
"Okie dokie," Mrs Berry said, "Hold on tight."
I turned to Sky, who had flooded green. She was carsick. Great. I grabbed her hand and put it on her mouth, trying to prevent her from being sick. She couldn't even look at me.

When the ride was over, I payed Mrs Berry, whilst Sky immediately jumped out. And then she threw up. Lulu and Gumball rushed to her side, "Hey, you okay?"
"Does anyone have any tissue?" She panted, "Quick."
"I do!" Star cried, running out from the car to Sky.
She zipped open her bag, and passed Sky multiple wipes.

I came out of the car, and approached the girls, "You alright?"
Sky nodded, wiping her mouth, "I'm fine now. I just get carsick."
"Was Mrs Berry even licensed??" Sky continued.
"We'll have to buy you a bucket for the journey back home," Star joked, emptying the used wipes into a near bin, "Take a sip of water, you might wanna cleanse the taste of vomit away from your taste buds."

"Look on the bright side," Gumball said, jolly, "We're here now. Time for Christmas shopping!"
"We'll have to split up for this," Star said, "We can't see who's buying what."
"Once you're finished shopping, go to Wander Café, we'll meet up there," Lulu demanded, "Now, let's split up. See you guys in a tad bit."

My first stop was Handy Aisle. It was a shop that sold perfumes, spray, tools, anything. I may even buy myself some things... ;)

I was currently in Lush, shopping for bath and body items. The store smelt like Christmas: a mixture of peppermint, gingerbread, anything and everything.

Hours later
I bought so much! I was carrying at least 9 bags, and damn they hurt to carry. Hurriedly, I made my way to Wander Café, where I saw Sky.
"Hey, Sky," I said.
She looked up, and smiled, "Hi! Come sit."
I sat in front of her, parking my bags right beside me.
"Anyone else here yet?" I asked.
"Nah," Sky mumbled, "Want some of my gingerbread man?"
I peeked at the gingerbread and smirked, "Yes, please."
"Here," Sky passed me a chunk of it, "Dip it in this caramel latte. So good."

Time passed, and eventually we were joined by Star. Then Gumball, and lastly, Lulu.

"We bought a lot, oh my word!" Lulu gasped.

And then we called a cab.
