Rose's POV
Science. The worst lesson to have first thing in the morning. My brain wasn't awake.
"So now you add flumbubblefloop to the mix," Hannah said, "That way we can allow it to dissolve. Science is pretty cool!"
"What is the point in this, Han? It's way too boring," I muttered,"I'm not willing to do this."
Hannah sighed, "It's called science."
I nodded, and turned to look across the room. Everyone was working, and here I was, drifting off into my own world.

I raised my hand, "Miss Crystal? Can I be excused please?"
The teacher pulled down her science goggles and smiled, "Yes dear. Do you need a note?"
"No thanks, I'm good," I said, and fluttered off.

I snook up to the girls bathroom, and locked myself in a cubicle. Slowly, I unzipped my purse and pulled out my eyeshadow palette. Time to fake this. Desperately, I grabbed a brush, gently dabbed it in a greenish colour and then plastered the pale pigment over my face. After reloading & zipping up my purse, I walked over to the hand dryer and put my face underneath it. Within a matter of seconds, my face was hot. Scorching hot. I took one last look in the mirror and fled the bathroom, making my way to reception.

It was 9:45am. I had been in the sick room for at least an hour. At last, the receptionist Trixie walked in.
"Hi, dear," she said, adjusting her glasses, "We have to take your temperature, see if you're well enough for class."
Suddenly, I felt my face flooding red. Oh no! I hadn't thought of this.
"Ah, shucks! I left my thermometer in reception. Please excuse me for a minute, don't move from there!" She exclaimed, and left the room.
As soon as she made her exit, I scanned the room, in hope of something. A miracle would be nice. All of a sudden, I spotted... a miracle. Saracha sauce? That was spicy. Then, the footsteps came closer to me. No looking back now. I popped open the lid and squirted it in my mouth. Instantly, my mouth felt like it had been set on fire. I started screaming, freaking out. Bad idea.

Immediately, Trixie rushed up to me, "What happened?!"
"H...h...headache!" I screamed, even though my mouth was on fire, "Tummy pains!"
Trixie's eyes widened. She was alerted, "Are you sure this is stomach ache-"
"Yes!" I roared.
"Okay. I'll escort you to your dorm. You need your rest for today ma'am."

I woke up in my dorm. My vision was a little blurry, but I could make out the faces of Sky...and a paramedic?
"She's awake!" Sky exclaimed, hugging me, squeezing tight.
"Be weary. Don't hug her so tight, she could be overwhelmed," the paramedic said, gently.
Sky instantly let go.
"What happened?" I asked, feeling my lips. Weirdly enough, the tingling sensation had gone.
"You passed out. For 30 minutes. According to your receptionist, it was intense stomach pains?"She asked,
I nodded, guiltily, "Uh- yeah. I think it's the heat."
