Chapter 18: Truth Or Dare

Gumball's POV
Me, Rose, Lou & Sky were all sitting on the sofas, squished up together & eating whilst watching a movie. Lulu was wearing a face mask with her hair tied in a messy bun; sky's eyes were peeled to the tv screen, Rose was just nodding off to sleep whilst Jewels was curled up in her pocket. And as for me, I was absorbing this moment. It felt amazing.

After my last spoonful of ramen, I turned to the girls, "Hey. So I was thinking...after this we could play some truth or dare."
I saw Lulu's eyes light up, "That's a great idea! Ooh, let me go first!"
I paused the movie. Sky and Rose turned to Lulu.

"Rose. Truth or dare?" She instantly asked.
"Truth."
"Who would you rather marry: Christian Bloome, or Alex Gray?"
Rose bit her lip, thinking. She turned red.
"Is it safe to pick Bloome...?" She asked, flooding a deeper red.
I smiled, "I think we have our answer!"
We all burst into laughter.

"My turn!" Sky squealed.
"Oke,"
"This is for all of you. Truth or dare?"
I narrowed my eyes, turning to Rose & Lulu.
"Dare?" I mouthed, narrowing my eyes further.
Lulu nodded, whilst Rose hesitated. Eventually, she nodded too.
"Dare." I said, smirking.
"I dare you all...to come into the closet with me and do the investigation..."

I jumped back. Lulu jumped up. Rose sighed.
"Why?..its 7pm, Sky. We have school tomorrow!"I said, " The answer's no."
Sky batted her eyelashes, "Please. I promise it will only be 20minutes. I wanna get to the bottom of this. Give me a chance, Gum."
She batted her eyelashes continuously, pleading, "I won't bother you for the rest of this night!"
"This night?! THIS NIGHT?! That's not long!" I exclaimed.
Sky snapped, "It's either this night or no night."

I rolled my eyes. This girl was so persuasive.
"Only if the others are coming." I muttered, putting down my prawn cracker.
"I am," Lulu said.
"I'm definitely coming! I'm not staying alone in this house!" Rose cried, "But, quick question. Where do we start?"
Sky looked at us all separately and then smirked, "Backpacks."
