CHAPTER 10
Shen Yue's POV
I am now currently sulking in my working area. I tried recalling all the things that happened the past few days. And I can't seem to remember that Dylan and I had a slight misunderstanding.
I was supposed to surprise him later and cook for him to celebrate our "friendsarry" but he is busy. And I also felt like he was avoiding me, he didn't even said his goodbye when he dropped me off earlier here in my workplace.
"But why was he like that earlier? Did I say something bad towards him?" I pout as I asked myself and wasn't even acknowledging the presence of my workmate.
"I can't seem to remember that you said something towards me." Fei Qi Ming said as he sat down in one of the chair infront of my desk.
I got startled by his comment and jumped out from my chair. I was not paying attention to the surrounding that I didn't notice him.
"Whoaa. . . Shen Yue relax! It's just me, Fei Fei, boss hasn't arrived yet", he said reassuringly.
"Hi, Fei Fei! I am sorry I didn't noticed you." I said while smiling shyly at him.
Fei Qi Ming was the first person whom I get along with eversince I started working here. He is one of my colleague here, yet unlike me, he's been working here for the past 5 years already so he is not new to the environment.
He knows how this company runs already. He is very approachable, that is why when I needed help about my work he is always there to guide me in every way he can. He has higher position than me but for him it didn't matter. He always put in his mind that every employee has equal position. So, he treat everybody the same respect he gave to our boss.
"It's okay", he nodded and smile.
"So, what's up? Do you need something?" I asked him
"Oh! . umm. . I just wan't to ask if. . hmm.."
"What?"
"Are you free tonight? Do you mind if i'll ask you to have dinner with me tonight? Don't worry it's my treat", he giggled.
"Oww. . He. he. he. Dinner? You? Me?" I pointed my index finger to his direction and then back to mine.
"Yeah. . just the two of us."
"Are you?. Asking me out on a date?"
"Uhm. . . Well, I think I am hehe. .Is it okay?"
"Ohh. . . .O-okaayy. . hehehe" I grinned.
"Is that a yes?" I nodded and smile.
"Okay, thank you! So I guess I'll see you later?"
"Yeah, sure!" I nodded and he turned to walk back to his office.

Time passed by so fast, I didn't even notice that it's already 5 pm. It has been so busy with work today, glad that I was able to finish all my paperworks and by that I don't need an overtime.
I checked my phone hoping I'd be able to receive a message from Dylan. But sad to say there's no text message nor call from him. Dylan hasn't texted me since this morning and by that I miss him already.
This is so unusual for me, cos before he always find time to contact me and ask how was my work even if he is so busy with his own work. I wanted to contact him but I know he's busy right now with his meeting and I don't want to bother him.
I started tidying up my desk and prepared my things. Maybe i'll just wait for Fei Fei in the lobby. I was about to go and Fei Qi Ming suddenly popped up.
