Shen Yue's POV
The weather is getting colder day by day and I forgot to bring my coat. I was rushing to leave the apartment earlier trying to avoid the rush hour since it's weekend and traffic is so bad during this days and here I am almost freezing to death the moment I got out of the car. I decided to wait for Jia in a cafe nearby rather than go inside her condo.
Waiting for the waitress to serve my hot tea, I heard a ping coming from my phone. I am assuming that it's Jia who messaged me but rather it's Dylan.
"Baby, you forgot to bring your coat. Where are you now? Do you want me to bring it to you?" I smiled reading his message. Dylan as caring as he is.
"Hi babe! I am here in a cafe near Jia's condo. I am fine, you don't have to bring it here." I hit the reply button and minutes after I heard another ping, it's from Dylan again.
"Okay, take care always. I love you!" I felt butterflies on my stomach. My boyfriend is the sweetest.
I suddenly remembered his surprise 2 weeks ago. I still can't get enough of it.

( Flashback )
We are now on our way to his apartment. Leaving the Punchline Club with so much happiness in my heart. I felt so much love from Dylan right now, I couldn't ask for more.
I felt him grabbing my hands. I looked at him and he looked at me for a split second to gave me a wink and then turned his eyes on the road again.
The moment Dylan opened the door in his apartment, another surprise awaits me. There's candles and petals on the floor as if making it as a trail going somewhere.
"Dy?" My eyebrows went up and my eyes widened.
"Go on. . . Just keep on walking." I did what he said. I kept on walking and the trail of candles and flower petals led me to the balcony.
There, I saw a nice table set up romantically with flowers on it. Wine is on the side table and the food is being covered. With a nice city lights and the full moon in the night sky, everything seems so perfect.
"Surprise!" I heard Dylan said behind my back and I turned to look at him with a bouquet of flowers on his hand handing it to me.
"Oh my God, Dylan! This is too much. I can't thank you enough." I hug him and tears fall once again.
"Everything for you my love. Come here, have a seat." He guided me to sit and then we started eating before the food gets cold. We ate and talk at the same time.
"Dy, how did you do all of this?" I asked him quiet amused of the things he did for tonight.
"Well, I got a little help from my friends. Darren was just here minutes ago, he helped me set up all of this while Connor helped me in the Punchline."
"Wow just wow! They're very supportive."
"Yes, they are especially because it's you. They all love you that's why they really want us to be official." He is so proud to say it.
"Well. . Thank you so much for all of these. You really made me so happy Dy." I held his hands and squeezed it while grinning like a small baby.
We were done eating, we were both quiet for a time just looking at the city lights enjoying the view that we have right now. Then Dylan suddenly stood up from his seat and grabbed a small box from his pocket. He then positioned himself at my back and then showed me the necklace. It is a North Star pendant with a moonstone on the center.
