Twenty Two

Emma and Regina were thrilled to see their daughter again, but soon their emotions changed once they heard why she was back so early.

"It's all my fault." Regina said close to tears. "If I hadn't of split myself then none of this would've happend."

"You can't blame yourself for this." Emma said as she rubbed Regina's back, trying to comfort her girlfriend. "None of us knew this would happen."

"I was being selfish. I couldn't live with the bad parts of me so I thought it would be a good idea...It brought nothing but misery."

"Well, we can't change that but we can do something about Rumple version two."

"How?" Regina asked, despair in her voice. "We can't. We can't kill him. It'll kill Rumple. We can't kill him because that means someone else will take his place and I will not let you become The Dark One again."

"I'm not sure...But we'll figure it out. For now, Alice go back to Purgatory with Wynonna."

"No. I'm staying."

"So am I."

Everyone turned to look at the door, Wynonna was stood there. She walked further into the room and sat beside Alice.

"She's not your daughter. She's not mine either. She's ours and we have to do what's best for her. You guys know this Rumple dude better than anyone. Alice will be safer here, you'll know how to protect her."

"There's no guarantee we'll be stopping him anytime soon." Emma said sadly.

Wynonna shrugged her shoulders and leaned forward so her elbows were resting on her knees. "It doesn't matter when or how soon you stop him. What matters is keeping our daughter safe. She's our priority. My Little Snuggle Bug is the one thing that matters in this moment in time."

Alice quickly grabbed the sword that was kept under the sofa before she lunged at Wynonna, holding the blade close to her neck.

"Rumple!"

"What are you doing?!" Wynonna shouted. "Alice, it's me. Babygirl it's me."

"No it's not." Alice growled, pressing the blade harder against her neck. "Only Emma calls me Snuggle Bug. Nobody knows that nickname exists. She hasn't called me that in over ten years either."

Wynonna rolled her eyes and began to laugh. "Well done Dearie." Wynonna slowly transformed into Rumple who had a grin on his face. "Could you kindly get off of me. Your knee is rather uncomfortable."

"No." Alice glanced up at her Mothers. "Get Gold, he'll know what to do."

"Ah ah ah. Not so fast. See, I may have made them...Disappear."

"Them?" Alice asked, feeling her heart drop.

"Yes. My rather ugly counterpart...And the Demon Hunter and her Cowboy lover."

"WHERE ARE THEY?!" Alice yelled, feeling her blood boil.

"Why they're at the Pawn Shop of course." He laughed.

Green smoke surrounded him and when it was gone, so he was he.

"Tick tock." He said as he appeared by the door he was about to leave before he turned back around. "Oh and one more thing. I have the one handed pirate too...But he is somewhere else. The choice is yours. Save your blood family or save the man that raised you."

He ran out of the door, leaving the three women in shock.

"What do we do?" Regina asked.

Alice stood up, shaking her head. "It's not we. It's me. What do I do?"
