Prologue - Storybrooke

Everything was great in Storybrooke, there hadn't been an attack by anything in a long time. Everyone had their happy endings...Or happy beginnings.

That was until one day one of Gold's many enemies came looking for revenge.

They were battling it out in the forest but he wasn't alone. He had his family battling with him.

"What did you do to piss this lad off?" Killian asked as they took cover behind a tree.

"I may have told some giants where he lived in exchange for the location of  the first Excalibur...It was a false  location too..."

"Bloody hell, mate. Your past is what's going to get us killed one day."

"Agh!"

Killian and Gold ran from behind the tree to see Regina laying on the ground, holding her side as blood poured from her wound.

"Regina!" Killian shouted as he ran towards her. He dropped to his knees, applying preassure as best as he could with one hand.

"Jack, this is between you and I. Leave them alone."

"You care about these people? You love these people? You consider them your family? I had a family. I loved my Mother, my wife. My child! And you sent some giants to kill them!"

"I thought they wanted you! I'm sorry!"

"You haven't lost everything. You haven't lost the ones you loved most. You don't get to be sorry." Jack raised his sword and charged at Gold when suddenly his sword flew from his hands.

"Really? Can't people stop trying to kill for revenge." Emma sighed as she emerged into the clearing they were fighting in. Pushing a stroller with one hand as she made the sword come to her.

"This battle is no place for a baby." Jack snarled.

"I know, that's why I'm putting an end to this. Jack, just go.  You won't get the revenge you crave. You'll just die."

Jack looked around to see without his precious sword, he was out numbered. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small vile of liquid.

"You took my family from me. Destroyed my life. I'll destroy yours." He unscrewed the cap and threw the liquid at Emma but she was pushed out of the way by Gold who could see what was about to happen a mile away.

"You better leave before I kill you." Gold growled as he stood up slowly. "I'm giving you the chance to walk away."

Emma stood up, brushing herself down. She walked towards the stroller to check on her baby.

"Alice?" She whispered to herself as she saw her baby wasn't breathing. "She's not breathing! Killian she isn't breathing."

Regina took over applying preassure as Killian stood up, rushing towards his wife and child.

"No, no." Killian said as he gently lifted his baby out of the stroller. "Come on, love. Wake up. Wake up for Daddy."

"What was in the vile?" Gold asked, anger running through his veins.

"It...it was a sleep potion..."

"SHE'S A BABY!! A SLEEP POTION WON'T HAVE THE SAME EFFECT IT HAS ON US!" Gold finally snapped and began to choke Jack.

"I'm sorry. I didn't know."

Gold had worked so hard to change, he wanted to snap Jack's neck so bad but he couldn't. Even after what he had done.

"Crocodile."

Gold turned his head slightly to look at Killian.

"Snap the bastards neck."

Three Years Later

Three years had passed since Emma and Killian lost their child. It wasn't the same for them. They would argue all the time and so, they decided it was best to get a divorce, they always had that special bond though, due to Alice.

In time, Emma found love with Regina. Killian he didn't want anyone. He just drank his sorrows. He spent most of his time at his daughters resting place.

Today marked the third year of her death so him and Emma went to the clearing in the forest where it all happend to lay some flowers down.

When they got there, they saw a small baby in a pink, elephant blanket.

Killian knelt down and gently picked the baby up. Looking into her eyes, he saw the familiar blue he hadn't seen in a long time.

"Emma." He smiled not taking his eyes off the baby. "It's Alice. It's our baby."

"That's impossible. Our baby is gone."

"I could never forget her eyes. This is our baby. I don't know how but she's back. This our little girl."

Little did they know, this girl would bring happiness to their life but she would also bring trouble. A group of people were looking for this baby and they would not stop until they found her.

This baby was Alice Michelle Earp and this is her story.
