Sleepy Paradise on the Street
"I can't do this anymore, Jimin ! I'm weak, I need it !"
11.00pm
Jimin sprang up from the couch and struggled with the blanket that he wrapped himself with— a little too tight if you ask him. A sigh escaped his lips as he looked at the breakfast nook that was turned into a paper wasteland, his husband hunched over a laptop and typing endlessly; there was a pen resting on his ear, a bunch of forms sandwiched on his armpit that he constantly refers to and his eyes were red from not blinking. Trudging over, the younger male began to sort out the paperwork and tidy the table," angel."
Waiting for a few minutes, Jimin cleared his throat and asked again, "babe."
Seokjin continued typing on his laptop, muttering the words he's typing. Jimin clicked his tongue before huffing, "Kim Seokjin."
"How many times do I have to remind everyone that my name is Park Seo-," the blonde began to reply out of habit, abruptly stopping his sentence and finally looking up for the first time to see his frowning husband," honey, what's wrong ?"
"We were supposed to watch a movie an hour ago, the snacks are already stale and cold!" Jimin whined, pointing to their living room. The television had Netflix on and it was already asking if anyone is still watching.
The older male gasped, looking at the watch on the wall before sighing and reaching over to hold the raven's hand," sorry Jimin, it's just taking a really long time for me to complete this– please give me ten more minutes?"
Jimin nodded, rubbing his thumb over Seokjin's knuckles before pulling his hand up to leave a kiss on it," okay, remember to blink."
Walking back to the couch, Jimin sat down and began scrolling through his phone while he waited, shaking his leg.
11.15pm
At this point in time, the raven was already sprawled all over the sofa– a leg flung over the backrest. The sound of Seokjin's keyboard click-clack was all he heard the whole night and it was beginning to get on his nerves. Was it so bad for him to be selfish? Wait– what was he thinking? Of course, it's bad to be selfish, Seokjin was just doing his job to keep them off the harsh streets and here Jimin was, being needy.
Pulling himself up, the raven looked at the breakfast nook yet again to see his lover hunched over again," baby, your back."
Straightening, Seokjin shut his laptop and took a sigh, closing his eyes before standing up and stretching. Jimin felt his heart clenching when he looked at his husband and turned off the television, standing up to walk over, "let's just sleep for tonight, hm, angel? Sounds good?"
"What? No–no, let's watch the movie," Seokjin argued back, holding Jimin's arms and leading him to the sofa again, remote already in hand.
Jimin snatched away the remote control," no, I want you to sleep– look at your eyes!"
Seokjin was shocked," I'll let you know these eyebags are designer! Besides– do you love me any less with eyebags? What happens if I get old and wrinkly?"
The raven laughed, his torso leaning towards Seokjin," I signed up for this didn't I?" He joked, showing his ring finger.
"That's right, you signed up to love me for the rest of your life so take responsibility !"
Contemplating, Jimin wrapped the both of them up in the blanket," alright, but if you feel sleepy you have to tell me right away, okay ?"
"Yes, dad." Seokjin mocked, nuzzling closer to the younger male.
