Night banter
"Let's just say I treated him like a prince and I was his secret knight!"

"Hey, appa, have you had any terrible dates before you met dad?" Areum asked, knees tucked and free hand twirling a loose strand of her own hair.

Pursing his lips, Seokjin pondered for a few minutes, furrowing his brows, "well— not really. I only fell hard for your dad and he's my first. I mean I did have girlfriends but I never kissed them, I got nervous everytime I tried and I'd start overthinking."

"Because I was the most irresistible man your appa ever came across and once he looked at me, he immediately got converted—"

Seokjin tried to push away his husband that was standing behind the sofa and proceeding to slink  around his shoulder, exaggerating the story as he went along. Shaking his head, the older male interrupted, "—he's joking. He was the one that chased after me first."

Their daughter squealed in delight, "how did dad court you?"

"Court? More like stalked. Your dad followed me everywhere I went and harassed me! I was about to file for a restraining ord—"

"—not true! I loved your appa passionately but I wouldn't call it.. stalking. Let's just say I treated him like a prince and I was his secret knight! I followed him to make sure he was protected and—"

"—oh my god!" Seokjin shouted, his face scrunched up from laughing too much, "—your dad is hilarious!"

"Ugh, you guys are flirting in front of me again." Areum sighed, leaning her head to one side and rolling her eyes.

"Guess what?" Jimin asked.

"What?" Their daughter replied, unbothered.

"I'm gonna irritate you further because you don't appreciate us flirting and showing you what real love is like. It's not about the chocolates or the flowers—"

"—sometimes it is." Seokjin whispered, raising his brow.

"—it's about the silly little things, the way your partner drives you a tiny bit crazy, how you have stupid fights just to have a good laugh, bantering, wrapping your arms around your partner even though you might be choking them. I am now going to make out with your dad like how they did in Spiderman when he was hanging upside down."

The blonde started to laugh again as his husband grabbed the sides of his head and gently pulled him over, Jimin towering on top of him. Their daughter began shouting in the background and haphazardly left the scene with her eyes closed, bumping onto the furniture along the way.

Once their little princess was out of sight, Jimin began to laugh as hard as he could, hands still holding Seokjin's head. The older male playfully punched the raven, "you're a jerk of a dad!"

Taking what was rightfully his, Jimin gave a soft peck on his lover's lips only to have the blonde grumbling. Pulling away, the raven asked, "what?"

"The stubble has to go, honey. I don't like the feeling of it. God forbids it actually turns into a beard." Seokjin complained, reaching out and rubbing his hands on the raven's jawline.

"What! But you don't mind my hair down ther—"

"Spiderman kiss!" A younger voice interrupted the both of them.

The couple turned their heads to see their youngest son, Minseok, standing at the edge of the sofa with bright eyes.

"I think dad looks good with the prickly hair on his face, it tickles." He said once more.

Looking at each other, Seokjin sat up straight and Jimin perched himself on the headrest, "sweetheart, how much did you hear?"

"Uh—," Minseok prolonged, recalling his thoughts again before perking up, "—oh! Dad was saying that you like his hair down somewhere! Maybe his legs!"

The raven bursted out of laughter, his whole torso flinging over the couch which threw his body over, tears already congregating on his waterline. Seokjin on the other hand was flabbergasted, he started stuttering to make up excuses, "yes! Yes— I— I like his leg hair!

All Jimin could reply with was a ghastly wheeze until he began coughing, hitting his chest and then resuming his laughter again. He didn't even care that he fell down, his pain was numbed by his laughter and he was loving every bit of it. Minseok looked at his dad rolling on the floor, thinking it was pretty darn funny as well.

"A-Anyways! Baby, what are you doing out here past your bedtime?" The blonde tried to change the subject as his husband was literally dying on the floor.

"I wanted some milk. Or water. I'm thirsty."

"Didn't you see your water bottle at the nightstand? I left it there for you, sweets." Seokjin reminded, standing up and leading his son back to his bedroom.

"Oh right! Goodnight appa, please don't laugh too much without me."

Tucking in the youngest, Seokjin left a kiss on Minseok's forehead before proceeding to leave the room and walking back to the living room where his husband was dead on the floor, wiping his eyes. Reaching a hand out, Jimin gripped Seokjin's hand tightly as he stood up, out of breath.

"Can you at least wait to traumatize them when they're angsty teenagers?! Don't ruin their innocence!" The taller male scolded, wrapping an arm around his husband and proceeding to rub his fist on the top of Jimin's head.

Jimin struggled, "I-I didn't know you love my hairy legs!"

"Shut up!" Seokjin shouted out of embarrassment, he really was this close to punching the lights out of his husband and hoping that he'd forget what happened.
