A trip down Memory Lane
Seokjin's heart melted at the sight of his children sleeping at the passenger seat.

Jimin stood in their garage, reaching for the bicycle hanging on their ceiling but a car was in the way. Seokjin walked in,"honey, do you need me to move the car?"

"Nope, I got it—oh it's heavy—," Jimin struggled, his arms aching and shaking as he carried the bike, swaying backwards,"—I'm going down!"

The blonde immediately rushed over to help his husband, sliding over the hood of the car and picking up the bicycle,"why do we keep it anyways? The doors don't work, the windows get stuck, there's liquid flowing out of it—we haven't filled it up for years!"

Pushing himself up, the raven dusted off his clothes and took the bike," well— I can fix that and we can give this car to Areum."

Seokjin's eyes widened,"oh no, we are not giving this to her, it's a death trap and we can fit a mattress way too easy in the back— our baby isn't getting this car and she still has years ahead to take driving lessons."

"Remember when we haven't adopted our little princess yet? The fun times we had in the backseat?"

"Yeah—we're selling this car."

Now it was Jimin's turn to widen his eyes,"what?!"

"Come on honey, be practical with me— you falling down wouldn't have happened if it weren't for the old car blocking your way."

-

The car was pushed out onto their driveway and the whole family was helping to clear it.

"Appa, where's the trash ?" Their daughter asked, holding up a worn-down pink blanket that has seen better years.

Seokjin turned around to look,"—it's at the—" once he saw the blanket, he took it in his arms and began to pet it,"—baby, we can't throw this away, it's your security blanket!"

"But it's .. old and gross.." She mumbled, tucking away a strand of hair behind her ear.

"You used to bring this everywhere and you can never fall asleep without it!" The blonde said, sniffing it a little.

"Until Minseok used it as a vomit wipe." Jimin reminded his husband, earning a laugh from their youngest child.

The taller male immediately chucked the blanket onto the trash bin and began to dig at the backseat to find an empty, musty jar. Holding it up, he called his son,"Minseok-ah, remember this?"

The child ran over and held the jar in his hands, his eyes sparkling as he marveled at it, "it's my jar of sunshine from the beach!"

"He had such a good time, he kept it to remember the day." Jimin said as he walked over, taking the jar and looking at it. Seokjin was about to turn it open but the raven stopped him,"it's better closed."

-

Half an hour in and Seokjin wasn't anywhere to be seen, making Jimin curious,"kids, have you seen Appa?"

The two siblings shook their head, the eldest speaking up,"he was sniffling a lot earlier, maybe he went in to get allergy medication?"

"Okay— I'll go in and get Appa, you two just keep going. No running off into the streets and when you see a stranger make lots of noise and run into the house, okay ? Areum, look after your brother."

With his children nodding, Jimin wiped his hands before entering their house, slipping off his shoes and was about to go up the flight of stairs until he saw the blonde in their living room, holding onto a tissue box with an album in front of him.
