"I love you so much."

The brunette shot up , beads of perspiration rolling down his head. He looked around the dimly lit room and heaved a sigh of relief when he found a tuft of black hair poking out from the sheets. Slowly , he pulled the sheets away and saw his dearest hyung peacefully sleeping , an arm over his torso. The younger one sank back into the sheets , positioning himself and his hyung so that Seokjin's head would be resting at the curve of his neck.

"Ah , that was too real .." Jimin mumbled , lightly stroking the other's head , careful not to wake him up. He shut his eyes , clearing his mind of the dream he had but to no avail , he couldn't fall asleep. Maybe a nice cup of warm milk would do , he thought , slowly getting out of bed and to the kitchen. He grabbed a carton of cold milk from the fridge and a cup from the dish rack , pouring the liquid in the cup before placing it inside the microwave. As he was waiting for the timer to go off , keeping eye on the cup inside to make sure it doesn't overflow. He took out the mug before the microwave could start blaring , not wanting to make a single noise to wake up the other. He went back to the room , mug in hand and settled back on his side of the bed , his lover's arms immediately wrapping around his waist , as if he knew that he left the bed.

Half-way through the mug , a gentle hand was placed on the small of his back , rubbing soothing circles. "Nightmares again , chim ?" the raven asked , placing his head on the other's thigh. Jimin nodded and put the cup down on the bedside table ,"it's okay , hyung , go back to sleep."

"Not when you're like this , come here." Seokjin invited , sitting up and stacking a few pillows together , leaning on it with his arm stretched out. The younger sat closer to him , his head resting on the other's broad shoulders. The raven started humming , wrapping his arms around Jimin and cradling him. Whenever Jimin gets nightmares the elder always woke up and would rock him to sleep , whispering sweet-nothings to his ear or humming a song. He didn't know why he was getting nightmares , his life was perfect , he had the most funniest man beside him and that was all he needed. Seokjin didn't pay mind to it but he was worried , there are times where the brunette would wake up screaming in a pool of sweat , shaking the elder violently to wake him up and comfort him but those episodes were less frequent now which means the raven was at least doing something right. Seokjin would sometimes blame himself for making Jimin be like this but both of them knew it wasn't his fault.

Jimin's eyes felt heavy and his vision was blurring out , blinking his eyes rapidly to keep himself away. "Hyung , I'm sleepy .."

"Then sleep , I'll be right here holding you so don't be afraid. I'm here." Seokjin said , almost coming out as a whisper and gave a small peck on Jimin's head. The younger clutched the other's shirt,"but .. I'm .. scared.."

"Don't be. I'll be here when you wake up. I promise. I love you Jimin and I'll never let you go." The raven reassured. Jimin fought to keep his eyes open but the warm embrace of his hyung gave too much comfort. His eyes fluttered closed and the last thing he heard was an 'I love you'.

When Jimin opened his eyes and once again wasn't in the arms of his lover , he knew something was wrong. Very. Wrong.

He practically jumped out of the bed , bolting out of the bedroom door to run frantically around the house , hoping to find the raven somewhere but he couldn't. He went back to the bedroom and sat on the bed , defeated. "It's happening again!" He shouted , tucking himself in bed and shutting his eyes tightly. He laid there for a few hours , his eyes still shut , hoping that he would drift off to sleep and wake up in his lover's arms and seeing his smile. He hummed , trying to calm himself down like what the raven always did , lightly rocking himself back and forth but it was useless , he needed the warmth of the other to fall asleep.
