The old garden by the cemetery
"Whatever happens, I'm still going to be your angel. Yours."

"It's tiring to keep meeting like this, Jimin," Seokjin whispered, hands trying to pry away the arms on his hips. The said male just grumbled, nuzzling his head further onto his lover's soft, feathery wings and peppering it with kisses.

Giving up, the blonde leaned his head back and to the side, resting on top of the raven's head, "I love you too."

"You worry too much, angel. Let's just run away, the both of us, this place has too many rules." Jimin suggested, leaving a peck on the blonde's nape, sending jolts down his spine.

The couple was sitting down by a worn-down fountain in the middle of an overgrown and abandoned garden. Moonlight showered the place, being their only source of light along with fireflies. The old garden by the cemetery has been the couple's meet-up spot for their nightly rendezvous, loitering around to talk about their day, just spending time with one another without any judgment.

It's known for a fact that angels and demons don't mix, they have their own specific districts and areas that are closed off to their particular being; the old garden being the silver lining in between.

The demon remembers how he met Seokjin like it was yesterday— the angel wandering around the endlessly and ending up at the heart of the maze, confusion was written all over his face.

"You. What are you doing here? Are you lost?" The raven asked, keeping a safe distance away from the angel.

"Am I? What are you doing here?" He asked back, a mischievous tone to his voice.

The demon jerked a brow, taking a step closer, "you're gonna cross demon territory if you keep going further, I'm here to tell angels to stay in their place."

Seokjin gave a sound of amusement, sitting down at the fountain, "so, you're a gatekeeper then?"

"I guess, many angels wander this place and get lost on their way to heaven, they end up getting enslaved once they cross over."

"Why aren't you an angel? Aren't you doing something good?" the blonde inquired, plucking a flower and raising it up to the sun, inspecting it closely before taking a tiny whiff.

"Such minute good deeds aren't enough to bring me to heaven," Jimin mumbled, his head hanging low.

They sat in silence, the angel constantly looking over the raven and observing himall he feels is forlorn as he looked at the demon. Seokjin spoke up, "does it get lonely?"

Jimin looked up, "maybe."

"Want me to come over and keep you company sometimes?" The angel suggested, standing up once more and walking to the demon, placing the flower on his ear.

"Why would you?"

"Seems pretty lonely to be here by yourself. My name is Seokjin, what's yours?"

Jimin looked at Seokjin in disbelief before he shook his head, feeling the corners of his lips tugging into a smile, "Jimin."

Placing a kiss on the demon's forehead, Seokjin beamed with happiness, his body practically glowing. An instant wave of warmth immediately took over Jimin, making him feel safe and loved. The demon's shoulders sagged, "what did you do?"

"I'm a guardian angel, it's my job to make people feel protected and cared for," Seokjin explained, stretching out his wings and taking a few steps back, "see you tomorrow, Jimin."
