Waking Up After a Long Night

Last time on A World to Remember...

"It'll be okay," Petra says, and she hears Feona in the other room. "Oh Lukas, Feona is for some reason awake. Can you go check on her?"

"Yeah," Lukas says, walking out of the room.

Back on A World to Remember...

Feona was looking around with a worried look on her face. "Babe, what's going on? I heard a little bit of panic in the other room."

"Jesse's sick is all," Lukas says.

"Is she okay?" Feona asks, immediately concerned.

"She'll be fine," Lukas says.

"Okay," Feona says, and then figured what it could be. "Is it Lactus Celliosis that she has?"

"Yeah," Lukas says.

"Oof, I feel bad for her," Feona says, shaking her head. "Last time I knew, she would get stage 4. I'm gonna go in there and check on her if that's okay."

"Are you sure you should?" Lukas asked. "You still need rest..."

"Lukas, she's my older sister, and I care about her. I want to make sure she is okay."

"I just came from there, she was just going back to sleep," Lukas says.

"Oh okay, I'll leave her alone then," Feona says, laying back down. She smiled as she saw Rueben run toward her and jump on the bed. "Hey buddy. You sleeping with me tonight?"

Rueben nods, and Feona laughs. Rueben lays down at her feet and goes to sleep.

Lukas pets Rueben. "I'm gonna head back to the other room and go to bed."

"Alright, sleep well and I love you," Feona says, looking up at Lukas.

"Love you too," Lukas says, kissed her, and goes back to the other room.

Jesse stirs a little bit as she got another pain. "Ow ow ow..." she whispers uneasily, clutching her stomach.

Petra hears this, and she walks over and grabs her hand. "It's okay Jesse, breathe." *sees Lukas come into the room* "Why was Feona up Lukas?"

"She heard commotion in here, she got worried," Lukas explained. "She's asleep again."

"You guys should go to bed, too," Nanette says. "We'll see what we can do for Jesse in the morning."

"Alright, as soon as Jesse gets over this pain," Petra says, and then goes back to Jesse.

Jesse continued to breathe heavily through the pain, squeezing Petra's hand occasionally. Soon, it was gone, and Petra let go of her hand. "Well, good night guys and see you in the morning."

"Goodnight," Nanette says. "My room is across the hall if you need me, and Icane is in the room next to mine."

"And Hannah? Lukas asked.

"She likes the living room," Nanette says. "Goodnight." She then leaves.

Lukas and Olivia both go to bed.

Petra goes to the bed next to Jesse to keep an eye on her and goes to sleep as well, along with Axel. "Man it's gonna be a long day tomorrow with Jesse having Lactus Celliosis," she whispered.

"Sure is," Lukas whispered, and falls asleep.

*with Feona*

She started to dream about life back when Rueben died, and how upset her and Jesse were the first week without him. She knows that he is alive now, but that time was so sad for them and she was really upset. She woke up a little bit after Rueben in the dream died, and she cried silently, not wanting to wake anyone up. Soon, she stopped, and she went back to sleep, a different dream coming into mind.

*in the morning*

Lukas wakes up to the smell of something cooking.

Jesse wakes up too, and she sniffs the room, the smell of food cooking filling her nose. "Ooo something smells good. I wonder what it is."

"Heh... me too," Lukas agrees.

Nanette walks in. "You guys hungry?"

"Yeah," Jesse and Petra say at the same time, and they laugh.

"Ok, two people at a time, through the living room," Nanette says.

"Why two at a time?" Olivia asked.

"Hannah's still sleeping, and she'll wake up if she hears more than two sets of steps," Nanette says.

"And don't forget Fee too, she's in there," Jesse says, looking at the door to the living room. "Who wants to go first?"

"I think you and Fee should go first," Lukas says. "You're sick and Fee could probably do with some food."

"Okay, let me go get her," Jesse says, getting up and going into the room.

She walks close to Feona's bed, and she sees tear marks on her face. "Oh no, why was she crying?" Jesse whispers, immediately concerned. She went back into the room. "Guys, Feona apparently was crying last night and we didn't hear her."

"I did, I just didn't want to wake up you guys," Nanette says. "By the time I checked on her, she was asleep again. I think it was a nightmare."

"Hm, I wonder what nightmare it was," Jesse says. "I'm gonna go back to her, and after we all get food, I'm gonna ask her why she was crying."

"Good idea," Nanette says. "Right through the living room is the dining room."

Jesse goes back into the living room and she sees Feona. "Good morning sis," she whispers, making sure to be quiet to not wake up Hannah.

"Good morning," Feona says, smiling at her sister. "Did you sleep well?"

"Yeah I did thanks," Jesse says. "Want to get breakfast?"

"Yes, I am hungry," Feona says, getting up carefully.
