35: A shattered pride

He's surprised but grabs you with more force, trying to kiss you once again. You lean your head back, feeling energy gather to your forehead and giving him a head butt on his head. For this you're able to escape his grasp while he's recovering from the hit. "Ughhh... You can't do this to me, I'm the leader of the demon lords...!" he groans, now standing firmly on his two feet. You glare at him, spitting to your side. "I can't do what? For as long as I've been here, I haven't been allowed to take a glance out of the window! And then you're forcing yourself on me, is that fair? No, I'm not letting you treat me like a toy anymore" you say.

He starts emitting dark energy around him. "Then I'll just have to show you my superiority. Maid, provide me defense" he says, looking at Kuzuhamon, who's looking at you like pleading for help. You extend your hand out towards her, smiling softly. "I won't hurt you, trust me" you say, watching her get enveloped in blue energy and float to you. Your left shoulder gets a blue emblem on it and so does her right when you lock arms with her. His eyes widen. "Impossible... The favor of friendship..."

"Kuzuhamon, lend me your power so I can protect you. He's the most vile thing I've seen in my life" you say, looking at her. She nods and smiles, her form changing to a purple-armored one before the armor lifts itself and wraps around you. She's left with a black full body suit and with determination, you jump, crashing Lucemon through the wall so that you're outside. He's looking pretty much disappointed. "How could you defy me, the greatest being in this world?!" You giggle, floating in the air with your now light blue energy wings. "I think you're far from great, you diabolical bastard!" you yell as you charge at him, forming your claws. He dodges and starts landing hits on your body so that he sends you flying upwards before grabbing your arms and charging down towards the ground. "I call this one 'Paradise Lost'. This will hurt" he says calmly, his lips forming an evil smile. He hits you to the hard ground with high speed, causing the ground around you crack.

As he looks satisfied you kick him off and chuckle. "Thanks to Kuzuhamon, I've survived no damage whatsoever." He looks terrified now, trying to kick you. It's a graceful roundhouse kick. "TERRIBLE DANCE" he says as it hits you. Your beast-like claws stop his leg, holding onto it. "Not bad, not bad at all" he chuckles. He removes his leg and readies another. It's almost the same, except it seems to be covered with energy. "DEADLY ROLL." You dodge it, swiftly getting behind him and forming a gun on your other hand, shooting it on his back. He winces a little bit but stands still. "So, physical attacks are futile on you..." he says calmly, waving his wings to fly up to the sky again, beckoning you to follow him to the air.

You shake your head, flying back up and seeing him ready a magic attack. There's a number of small planets with a sun in the middle, forming a cruciform pattern. He sends it towards you, saying GRAND CROSS. It hits you right in the middle, making a wound on the front side of your body. You groan in pain because it stings worse than falling into a bush of nettles or rubbing salt to your wounds. It didn't take any effect on the armor though. After recovering from the hit, you pant and smile at him. "That... was nothing..."

He starts to look irritated and begins thinking with what strategy could he make you bow to him. This is another opening for you. You extend your hand to the side, having a silver-colored monk staff appear. You grab it, flying a little closer to him before lifting it upwards and hitting the other end to the base of your feet. It feels like there's a floor there. Pale red, dark and pastel green, purple, light blue and white fox-looking spirits launch at him, circling around him and closing in, with their sides causing damage on him. He falls down a little, trying to recover from your attack. You put the staff aside and it disappears.

You're about to form the claws again when he launches a white sphere at you, trapping you inside. Then he launches a black sphere at you, making the sphere turn into somewhat puzzle looking, slightly transparent ball. "DEAD OR ALIVE" his voice echoes. He flies to your height, looking at you through the sphere. "Now all you can wait is the judgement. Does it feel good, not being able to do anything? It'll either kill you straight on or cause you massive damage, leaving you hanging to life with a thin string that's about to break." He lifts his arm, dangling the defenseless Kuzuhamon with a hold on her left wrist. "You can watch her break, maid. Then I'll make sure to work you so much you won't ever consider to open your mouth ever again."

The sphere makes its draw and gleams red with energy starting to hurt you. It fades away and you fall to the ground on your back. After that you get back up, hurting all over. "No, this isn't my end, not yet." You form wings on your back one more time and summon the staff, turning it around and having your blue energy envelop it. It forms a great, little transparent sword, that glimmers in the last rays of the sun. "LET GO OF KUZUHAMON!" you yell as you charge at him. He drops her at the same time as you slash him in half. "Begone, demon" you say, grabbing the code key and seeing him vanish. You wave the staff's ringed head towards Kuzuhamon's direction, making her stop falling. The energy fades from the staff as you get back down on the ground with her.
