You look away, before speaking. "So I kind of got you into this mess.. Because I'm in a mess..." you start. "Just say it. I'm tired" he says. He really has a mustache. Cool. "So I'm kind of kidnapped here and I want to get out but I need to figure out how and now the king took me in as a recruit and he thought you were my mentor." He sits down. "And why'd he took you in?" he asks. You show him your wings. "I was told these are ghost wings but I'm actually a human and these wings are made out of energy my determination produces." He looks at you with a blank face. "They're made out of strong feelings to be short." He crosses his arms. "Hey, I can tell you're lying. The only one in the cells was a girl so how did you turn into a boy?"
You take off the helmet and let your voice back like it's normally. "I didn't ever change genders, just put on this armor I stole." He stares at you. "And what information did you make up?" You sigh. "I'm supposed to be Daniel from the far outskirts of the city. I don't really know what city I meant at first but it went through like nothing so I guess it's plausible." He nods. "Yeah, that's about all I needed to know. I'll cover up for you so I don't end up being questioned. It's a hassle."
The man gets back up to the shelf. "I guess that's all" he says. You shake your head. "Uhh.. How do you get inside the castle from the ground under this one?" you ask. He shrugs. "If you're not an angel like me nor with one, you need to pierce through the barrier by flying straight into it and fast like a bullet. Now leave me alone, I want my rest."
You put the helmet back on and get back to the hall where everyone's assembled. The king notices you and waves his hand, beckoning you to come to him. "And as an announcement, we now have a new, valuable asset to our stronghold" he says, putting you up front. "His name is Daniel and we do not know much about him, but he has the second-most valuable wings of all time, right after our archangel wings, The Ghost Wings!" You think this is your mark, taking the stance with the pose, exposing your wings. "Nithael the Indolent has brought him to us and now we shall rejoice with this new recruit whom I'll be training personally."
The hall is filled with huzzahs and clapping, making you feel embarrassed. Michael puts his hand on your shoulder, guiding you to go along with him. He walks along a corridor behind the staircase. "So I think you need a better-fitting armor. Down this corridor are the weaponry and the armory. Your build is quite small compared to our normal standards so your current armor is a little bit too lax." He takes you to the armory and offers you a set of armor that's put up on display. "I think this one would be quite suitable for you."
*COMPARED TO THE GUIDING PICTURE THE ARMOR IS NOT DAMAGED AND NOT BLOODY WITH SMALL ACCESSORIES*
The gauntlets have spikes at the knuckles like wolverine's claws and it's polished so it's shiny. It looks like gold but it's probably some material that only looks golden. "I think it looks awesome" you say with the boyish voice. The king smiles at you. "Very well, you shall have it. Would you like me to help you dress the armor?" You shake your head. "I'm very good with armoring myself, thank you. I'd rather not reveal my skin to you, it's hideous" you make excuses. The king nods and shows you to the armoring room, having the maids carry the armor for you to the room. "Maids, the young lad wants his privacy, so be it. If he wishes it to be so, he shall never be seen without an armor."
You watch the curtain fall back on the doorway, closing sight. You start changing the armor with your energy, getting it done in mere minutes before walking out of the room. Now you're wearing the armor the king offered you. "You are fast, young lad. I can't keep being amazed by you." He smiles and pats your shoulder again, watching you. "Oh, I didn't notice you had (E/C) eyes." He chuckles and pats your back. "Let's go to the weaponry."
In the weaponry of the opposite room he stands before two great swords. "I was thinking of letting you handle this Demon Slayer sword, but your arms are a little too slim. I'll just give you the sword I was given as a young lad like you. It's enchanted by God himself and it's very suitable for fending off the evil." You look at the sword as you pick it up from its place as hinted, swinging it around to test its weight and balance. "How did the almighty enchant it for you?" you ask. He sits down.
"Well I was a younger lad without wings at first where everyone else of my age had manifested their wings at the age of two. I was from a noble family and they threw me away for not having wings. Then a huge demon entered the city and slayed my older brother before my eyes. I took his sword, went to a high, nearby building and jumped down, slashing the demon in two. At the same time two pairs of silver wings formed in my back and just for a moment I was able to land gracefully with them, but then they disappeared, not appearing even if I tried. Then I got called in by the God, who rewarded me from protecting my people, and since I would've had two pairs of silver wings if it wasn't for the great power needed to use them, He raised me to an archangel's position and blessed my sword. That's why my wings are white and are they're like a medal on my chest for the rest of my life."
