My house was not that far from the town. I took a taxi to the center with the money I found in my pocket. Sadly I won't have any to return back once I finally decide to do that.

The city was crowded, people seemed unhappy, even the children weren't playful and it seemed as the bad mood from their parents was transmitted to them.

I tried not to bump into anyone while walking, but it didn't work for me every time. Suddenly my heart has stopped inside my chest for a second when the church bells started ringing.

I've looked at the building the sound was coming from and wondered how didn't I see it before. It was huge and beautiful, entirely made of white stone. But the bells were so loud that I thought my ears will bleed.

While I was still staring up at the bells and admiring their size someone stood in front of me.

"What are the odds?"

I lowered my head and saw Connor. This seemed too good to be true.

"Where did you come from?" I tried to sound not interested as if I was just a tourist. I will need a way to explain this entire situation.

"Can't you see?" He showed behind him at the church door. Now I have noticed that he was actually standing on the stairs that lead to the church.

"No, really..."

"I'm serious."

"But how is that possible? I thought you didn't believe in God?"

"And I thought you didn't walk among us peasants. Miracles happen, Cel." He smiled with the corner of his mouth.

"I'm glad for you."

"Would you like to try?"

"Try what?"

"Talking to God."

"Come on, now, Connor."

"Alright. Suit your self." He shrugged his shoulders and turned around. I can't believe he would just turn his back on me like that.

"No, wait! I will go..."

As we both climbed the stairs I questioned this particular decision, rather than questioning all the stupidity I have ever done. I'm seeing an improvement.

"You have nothing to be afraid of. You'll see..." He said when we came in front of the door. The doors were open and I saw a bunch of people inside sitting in a circle.

"This better be some kind of a witchcraft ceremony. I am not going inside if it is what I think it is."

"Oh, come on... It's a support group. Who doesn't need a little support?"

"Why would you be in a support group? It's a support group for irritating men?"

"No. It's for anything. There's just a few of us. Please, Cel. I have to be here because if I miss three meeting they'll kick me out. It's the rules..."

"And how many of them did you already miss?"

"Two. And a half. But they didn't notice so it doesn't count. I was sleeping."

"Why can't you just go in there without me?"

"Because if you leave now I'll lose you and then we won't hear from each other for another week. I need you, Cel. Don't make me beg."

"Ugh, I just don't know how to say no to people..."

"Yes!"

"But you owe me one. Ten actually."
