We all had a wonderful day at the town, I have seen places in my own city that I didn't even know existed. I felt like a tourist.

After they went home Connor offered me to stay at his apartment since I didn't want to go back home.

"I can't thank you enough..." I said following him inside his apartment.

"Oh, it's not a big deal." He carried a bag full of groceries and put it on his kitchen table. I followed him around the apartment. "Sit down. Feel free to do whatever you want."

"Whatever I want, huh?" I took a seat at the bar chair in front of his island. He was on the other side putting the groceries away. "So you wouldn't mind if I wreck this place down?"

"Not at all, no."

"Good. I was just checking."

"So what do you want for dinner? I can make eggs or pancakes. That's pretty much all I know."

"Then how do you survive? You said you're living alone..."

"Take out. So what are we having?"

I paused for a moment to think. Pancakes sounded like a good idea but his cooking skills were a big question.

"I don't know..."

"I know how to order a fantastic pizza."

"I'm in a mood to try some of your specialties."

"Okay, but eating my food might cause some serious side effects. I'm warning you."

"I think I can handle it."

After he made us pancakes and I laughed watching him trying so hard to make everything perfect for me I felt sudden nausea that was hard for me to control.

"Honestly, Cel, I don't remember the last time I was this happy."

"Me neither..." I lowered my head and closed my mouth to prevent myself from vomiting. Is it possible that his pancakes really caused side effects?

"Are you okay? You don't seem that way." I wasn't glad that he noticed something was wrong. He will start blaming himself for food poisoning me while I knew my nausea had nothing to do with his food.

"Yeah, I'm just a little tired." I smiled trying to assure him that I was fine but he seemed to be shocked all of a sudden.

"Your nose is bleeding!" He turned around to get some paper towels while I was trying to stay calm since I couldn't stand seeing even a drop of blood on me.

"Really?"

"Here." He handed me a bunch of paper towels that I used to wipe out the blood on try to stop it.

"Thanks."

"I think we should go to the hospital."

"No, I told you, I'm fine."

"You're not. I noticed ever since I first saw you that something was different. You look weaker every time I see you. You should see a doctor."

"It's just a nose bleed. That's nothing serious."

"But you look weak overall."

"Connor, I'm being serious. If you don't stop I'm gonna be very angry. And that's not something you wanna see."

He laughed taking a seat next to me.

"Okay, I'll stop. But you gotta understand me, I'm just feeling worried about you."

"I know."

"So I'm guessing you don't wanna try my other specialties?"

"No, I think that's enough for today."
