When Ismail(AS) was a little boy. One night Ibrahim(AS) saw a dream to sacrifice his son Ismail(AS). Next night Allah(SWT) showed him the same dream. He became ready to fulfill Allah's (SWT) order even though he loved his son dearly. Ibrahim(AS) came and told Ismail(AS) about his dream. He asked for his son's opinion. Ismail(AS) advised his father to fulfill Allah(SWT) command. And he would show his patient.
One the way while traveling they came to a place called mina. Satan tried to convince him not to fulfill Allah(SWT) command. They both chased Satan away and turned there back.
When they had reached mountain Arafat he laid his son on his forehead. And kneeling down and took the knife and ready to sacrifice his son. Then he heard a voice ''oh Ibrahim you have fulfilled the vision. Then Allah(SWT) ordered his beloved prophet Ibrahim(AS) to sacrifice a lamb from heaven instead of his son Ismail(AS).
When Ibrahim(AS) was very old one day angels came to visit him in human form. The prophet welcomed them as a stranger and guest. He served them a roasted calf but they did not eat anything. Prophet Ibrahim(AS) started to fear angels informed him not to fear. Because they were the angels. And they said Allah(SWT) will give them a son. That son was called Ishaq and was to be a prophet. Sarah(PBUH) couldn't believe it as she was very old. But the angels said everything is possible for Allah(SWT).
Prophet Ismail(AS) grew up, learned Arabic, and later married. After a while prophet Ibrahim(AS) came to visit his family. But at that time his wife Hajra(PBUH) had died. And his son Ismail(AS) was not at home. Prophet asked Ismail(AS) about there living conditions and she complained about everything. She was not grateful to Allah(SWT) blessing. Prophet Ibrahim(AS) realized that she was a very ungrateful woman. This kind of woman would not be a good wife for a future prophet, Ismail(AS).
He left a secret message to Ismail(AS) to leave her. Ismail(AS) obeyed his father's order. He then married another woman. After a while, Ibrahim(AS) again visited his son and see he married a very good woman. She was very grateful to Allah(SWT) blessing.
Allah(SWT) ordered the prophet Ibrahim(AS) to build a house to worship him. He went to his son prophet Ismail(AS) to get help to build Kaba. Then they raised the foundation of Kaba. The foundation stone from the Kaba came from the stone from heaven. It is found today at the corner of the Kaba known as the black stone. Ismail(AS) brought the stones. And Ibrahim(AS) build it. And the walls became very high Ismail(AS) brought a stone and put it for his father who stood over it. The name of this stone was called Makame Ibrahim.
Finally, they finished the building and prayed to Allah and accept their service.
Prophet Ibrahim(AS) lived for around 175 years. When he passed away he was buried in Hebron 20 miles southwest of Jerusalem.
