Chapter 26

(A/n: this chapter is akward, but funny.)

Shadow's PoV

I couldn't think straight anymore. As soon as i returned here, i ordered so much milk that it could make you tipsy just glancing at it. To make matters worse, I'd just finished downing the last glass.

But a strong, clear, calm voice shook me out of my alchohol induced misery.

"UUUggghhh... Shadow... You really need to learn how to hold your liquor... or milk... Whatever..." It was Vio.

I looked up to see him standing a few feet away from me.

"Look, Shadow, i understand how you must feel right about now, but getting drunk isn't going to make the problems dissapear forever."

I nodded. I understood, and Vio was right.

"But... How Do i fix this?" My voice slightly slurred.

"First, drink this." he handed me a small bottle with clear liquid inside.

I uncorked it and drained the bottle.

My senses came back sharply, and color wasn't blurred anymore.

I coughed, then blinked.

"W-what WAS the stuff?" i asked.

"It reverses the affects of alchohol (or milk, same thing.)."

"Wow... Um... Thanks?"

"Go back to her, Shadow."

"I can't. You may have been out cold, but her eyes were wide with TERROR when she saw me like that... I'm an animal..."I sighed. "She most likley hates me now."

"She LOVES you, Shadow."

"Who would love me?! I'm only a shadow. A dark reflection of a better thing."

"Go back to her, and you'll know."

"What if i refuse?" I snapped. 

"Then... I'll..." His cheeks flushed.," I swear to the goddess Nayru, (idk if i spelled that right.)... I will kiss you. then if you still refuse, the consequesces will be MUCH more severe."

"You're bluffing, Vio."

"I most certantly am not."

"I won't go."

He lunged foreward, and the ending result was a gross, sloppy wet french kiss.

Five secinds later, Vio pulled away, gagging, and me, gagging even more.

After a minuite, Vio sputtered out, "Still don't wanna go back to (y/n)?"

I raised my hands tto cover my face and squealed, an oactave higher than usual," I'll go! I'll go! DO NOT WANT!!!"

i grabbed vio and we dissapated into darkness. We landed about 30 feet from (y/n).

"Go," Vio commanded, and i ran towards her at top speed, mumbling, "do not want do not want do not want do not want" Over and over again.

Vio just smiled and grabbed a handful of mint leaves from the plant growning at his feet.
