"That is seriously fucked up" I said. "I don't blame Lyra for trying to run."
"Y-you know her name?"
"'Course I do. She told me." I said, rolling my eyes. "I'm Vio, by the way."
"I'm..."She smiled and laughed. "Violet."
She was beautiful. Stunning. Alluring. (A/n And all the other words that I found on thesarus.com and was too lazy to type out.)
I smiled for what felt like the first time in years.
Then that same smile was wiped clean off my face when I heard it. the sound of a bow being drawn.
I knocked Lyra to the ground and side-stepped to shield Violet just as the arrow sunk deep into my shoulder.
