Vio’s POV
Ugh. Sunlight. Whoever invented sun SUCKS!
I was still groggy when I was shaken awake by a laughing Violet.
I opened my eyes and I was instantly blinded by the bright light coming through the window.
Putting up my non- injured arm to block the sun, I tried for a smile and said “‘Morning” Then collapsed on the pillows again.
To my surprise, I wasn’t shaken awake again for about five minutes, then I felt the familiar hands on my shoulders.
“Violet… 5 more minutes.”
“If you don’t get out of bed in 5 more SECONDS, Ben is gonna dump a bucket of ice cold water on you.
I sprang out of bed at that.
I grabbed my hat and belt off the chair next to the bed and quickly pulled them on, then stepped into my boots.
“Awake yet?”
“Nope. Just surviving on pure willpower.”
Violet laughed and I felt an odd tugging sensation in the pit of my stomach, as if it had suddenly decided to do a triple somersault.
I felt my ears prick up and suddenly, I was fully awake.
“So what’s the agenda for today?” I asked in my best teacher voice.
“One, Don’t die, Two, Find Red, Blue and Green, Three, Run away from the Bounty hunters chasing after us.” Said Ben.
“Sounds like a plan.” Violet countered.

TIME SKIP- AFTER BREAKFAST
“So,” Said Ben, “Split up?”
“Yes.” Said Violet, startling me, “I believe that you’ll be able to find us, Ben, so you and Lyra go together.”
“Sounds about right.” Said Ben, taking a hold of Lyra’s hand.
“Come on, big brother, let’s go. There’s a whole wide world to go and see!” Lyra sounded really, really excited.
So that’s why Violet and I ended up walking through the lost woods to find Red, Blue and Green.
By the time we got to a small clearing, I had lost count of how many cuts, bruises and tree branches to the face I’d endured.
‘Jeez, guys,’ I thought about Green, Red and Blue. ‘Where are you?’
