Nick hadn't told anyone else what had happened, considering they didn't even know his parents were divorced. He only had two problems now. Figuring out his whole bottom-drawer issue, and figuring out what to do about him and Jeff.
Well, there wasn't a 'him and Jeff.' He just wanted there to be.
He was on his phone, trying to figure out the first one when Jeff walked in. He quickly turned off his phone and looked over. "Hey."
Jeff laughed. "Am I interrupting something?"
Nick tried to keep his calm and not blush, rolling his eyes. "I'm in the commons, what do you think?"
"You're blushing."
Damn it. "After what you said, how could I not be blushing?
"Touché." Jeff sat next to him. "I have a problem."
"Join the club," Nick said dryly, causing him to laugh.
"I need your help." Jeff suddenly seemed nervous.
Nick smiled. "Anytime, What's up?"
Jeff bit his lip. "So... There's this guy."
That's never a good starter.
"I like him, and I think he feels the same way, but I don't know how to ask him out."
Nick felt like his heart shattered into a million pieces. "And you're coming to me for help? Are you feeling okay?" he joked lightly.
Jeff blushed. "I trust you. Plus, Blaine's absolutely clueless, Kurt literally sang about a dead bird, Sebastian kinda hates relationships right now, Hunter clearly isn't good with relationships, Wes and David are complete cinnamon rolls, and Thad wouldn't be much help."
Nick laughed. "True. So, do you have any ideas?" As much as it hurt, he wanted Jeff to be happy.
"No," Jeff said dramatically, throwing his head against the back of the couch. "I'm completely lost. What would you do?"
"Well, I'm so self conscious that I'd never ask anyone out, but I'd probably ask them out how I would like to be asked out."
"But how would you like to be asked out?"
Nick thought for a minute. "Well, I wouldn't want some super grand gesture or it to be in front of other people, because I don't like attention. Honestly, if the person I liked just kissed me with no warning and then asked me out, I'd be completely fine with it. Actually, that sounds really nice." He cleared his throat, forcing himself to stop thinking about it. "But, um, that's just me."
Jeff nodded, looking over at him.
"What?"
