"Help me," Nick said, curling up into a ball of regret on his bed.
Sebastian looked over at him, raising an eyebrow. "Who are you hiding from?"
"Jeff. I- I was trying to tell him something, but then he caught on, but then I ran because I panicked," Nick said miserably.
"What, are you trans or something?" he asked offhandedly.
Nick looked up at him, in shock.
Sebastian looked surprised. "Wait, you actually are? I only said that because there's two things people are typically anxious to tell other people about, and he already knows you're gay. Or not. Or... whatever it is now."
He buried his face in his hands, nodding. "I just- I know you all are friends with Thad, so it'd be fine, but we're dating, and he's gay, so it- it's not."
"Nick, he's in love with you. Nothing can change that. If you're a girl- or... whatever- he'd just label himself as bisexual and keep loving you." Sebastian was confused but supportive.
Nick looked up at him. "You think so?"
"I know so. I've known Jeff for a long time, and nobody makes him feel the way you do. He's not going to give you up because of something like that. Hell, you would probably have to murder someone before he gave up, or at least made an effort to."
They were quiet for a minute before Sebastian looked at him, biting his lip. He seemed to have realized something. "Are you... Are you going to keep going to Dalton?"
