"Please just talk to me," Hunter pleaded, walking after Sebastian.

Sebastian spun around on his heel, finally looking at the boy. His face was expressionless. "We talked. A decision was made. It's done."

"You need to listen to what I have to say."

"I don't need to do anything."

Sebastian tried to turn back around, but Hunter grabbed his wrist. "Please, please listen to me."

"No."

"Sebastian, you're all I have," he said desperately, letting go of his wrist. He gestured around the empty hall. "Without you- Without you, all of this is pointless!"

"Hunt-" Sebastian took a step towards him.

"No, you know what? Leave. Just leave me, I know you want to. I was getting fucking tired of all this anyway."

Sebastian moved forwards again. "Hunt, what are you talking about?"

Hunter shook his head. "It- it's nothing."

"Please tell me."

"Just..." Hunter sighed. "Nothing I do matters, Sebastian. Absolutely nothing. This- this is all pointless."

"Hunter, everything you do matters."

"Really? Because you hardly gave me a second thought until I kissed another guy. And then we broke up, and we didn't tell anyone. Because it's not important. Because yeah, I kissed another guy, and yeah, we broke up, but it doesn't even matter." Hunter covered his mouth, blinking furiously. "I should go."

Sebastian stopped him when he tried to leave. "Hunter, I always think about you. And of course it matters. They'd just ask for an explanation, and I didn't want to embarrass you. And..." He bit his lip. "And I wasn't sure I was really for us to be completely over yet."

Hunter looked up at him, a light of hope in his eyes. "Really?"

"Yes, really." Sebastian pulled him into a gentle hug, his next words so gentle that if they weren't so close Hunter wouldn't be able to hear him. "And it sounds like you need me just as much as I need you."
