Wes and David were in Wes's dorm when Kurt walked into the room and sat down beside them on the bed. "Spill."

"What?" Wes asked, confused.

"Oh, as if I wouldn't notice that ring," Kurt teased, making them both blush. "Tell me everything, absolutely everything."

"It just happened today, last time I tried to ask him Hunter kind of ruined the moment," David said.

Kurt frowned. "Yeah, I heard about that. Pretty upsetting, I mean, I don't know the statistics, but I know that if you do it once you're more likely to do it again than if you don't. And now his plot's been foiled and he's lost all you guys and Sebastian so..."

Wes's eyes were the size of saucers. "I didn't think about that. If he's gonna cut, he's gonna do it now."

"That's a scary thought."

"Yeah, but it's not what we're talking about right now. So spill." Kurt took Wes's hand, admiring the ring. "It's beautiful."

"Isn't it?" Wes agreed.

David grinned. "Well, I love him and want to spend the rest of my life with him. We aren't rushing into wedding planning, like, we aren't going to get married before we graduate, but it's just... A reminder, I guess." He looked over at Wes. "That I'm yours."

He blushed and Kurt clasped his hands together. "You two are adorable, I love it. Wes Thompson has a nice ring to it, pun intended."

Wes laughed but nodded. "Doesn't it?"

"Have you told anyone?"

"My mom knows," David said. "But it's just her and you."

"Well, I'm honored to be one of the first to know."

"You didn't really give us much of a choice," Wes pointed out.

"I know," Kurt said, making them both laugh.
