David and Wes were shocked to see Kurt when they got back down to the commons.

"Kurt!" Wes rushed over to him, hugging him. "This day just keeps getting better," he mumbled, Kurt hearing him and laughing.

They'd never seen Kurt smile so wide. "I missed you guys so much!"

"You- you're back so soon," David said, stunned.

Kurt chuckled. "Well, obviously I'm not fully recovered, but they said I was well enough to go to school again. I mean, it especially helped that I was cooperative, they only really would have kept me hospitalized if I'd just relapse the minute I left."

"That must have been where I went wrong," Sebastian joked, making them laugh.

"I don't understand, I thought you and Blaine broke up?" Jeff asked, still looking happy as the rest. "Didn't you turn on your read receipts just to leave him on read?"

Kurt's eyes widened. "Oh, god no! I- I'm so sorry, I didn't realize what that must have looked like," he said, turning to Blaine. "I just- I couldn't respond to your messages, I wanted you to know that I was getting them."

"Kurt, it's okay," Blaine said soothingly. "You- you're back, it's okay now."

He chuckled, wiping his eyes and hugging Blaine again. "I love you." He turned back to the others. "You have to tell me everything I missed."

"Um, Blaine moped around a lot, Sebastian figured out that Hunter wasn't depressed and was just manipulating him," Thad ticked the items off his fingers, "Huntbastian broke up, Nick's now in full custody of his dad, and we missed you a lot. I think I got it all."

Kurt laughed. "Okay, sounds like I missed a lot. You're gonna have to slow down and explain that a bit."

"Well, you know what I told you about Hunter and Sebastian getting back together? How it sounded like Hunter was threatening to kill himself if Sebastian broke up with him?" Blaine asked. Kurt nodded. "Well, he was. Now they're broken up."

"And my mom was pretty much an unfit parent, there was a trial and now I get to live with my dad," Nick said, shrugging.

They talked and as the others began to go their own ways, Kurt turned and kissed Blaine.

"What was that for?" Blaine chuckled.

"Being there for me. You're the best, you know that?"

He smiled. "Well, you deserve the best."
