Aria laid on the couch in the living room of the Salvatore Boarding House. She had been placed under a curse and they soon had Bonnie find out that she was reliving her memories. Now Charlotte, Damon, and Caroline were going to go through her memories to find her and bring her back. "Remember you will only have a few hours to find her." Bonnie reminded them. The three of them nodded to her and closed their eyes as Bonnie started the spell. The next thing they knew, they felt like they were somewhere else.

They opened their eyes to find themselves in a diner. There were a few people in it, but not a lot. They tried to talk to each other, but realize they couldn't. Guess they're just gonna have to watch. Everything was normal until a little girl with purple hair walked into the diner. Aria was about to make her way to the counter, but she stopped when she noticed something. They followed her gaze to see her looking at a little boy with brown hair. He had a book in front of him and looked sad.
Aria walked over to the booth and sat in the seat across from him, "Hi." They walked closer to the booth to get a better look at what was happening.
The boy looked up at her in confusion, "Hi.
Aria smiled brightly at him, "I'm Aria! Why do you look so sad?" The boy didn't reply, "It's okay if you don't want to talk about it. There are things that I don't want to talk about sometimes too. What's your name?"
The boy hesitated before answering, "Henry. Henry Mills."
"Like Mayor Mills?" Aria asked him. Henry nodded and Aria's gaze moved to the book. The book had the words 'Once Upon a Time' plastered on the front of it, "What's that book?"
Henry seemed to think for a moment before finally telling her, "It's a book of fairy tales, but between you and me..," Henry leaned closer to whisper to her, "I think everything in this book really happened... And everyone in this town in actually a character from the story."
Aria seemed interested in what he was saying, "Really? Even me?" Henry nodded again, "Why?" Henry gestured for the girl to sit beside of him. She did and the two of them started to read the book as Henry explained to her.

The memory shifted to a place in the forest. The trees were incredibly tall and they were standing in the middle of a dirt road. They saw Aria walking down the road and wearing clothes similar to what gypsies would wear. Walking a few feet away was a hooded figure. Aria was quiet as she reached for the figure's back. She didn't get far because the figure turned to her and aimed an arrow at her, "You're a kid?" They heard a feminine voice ask.
