I WAS SITTING IN the living room, my arms crossed in defiance. I had been arguing for the past couple of days that they should at least take me to see if I can get into Storybrooke. They have continuously denied me, but this time I'm holding my ground. I refuse to move from my seat on the couch until they take me to see Storybrooke. I miss my family and my friends, and they aren't even trying to get me back to them.

"I say we just take her to Maine and get this over with," Charlotte suggested, looking around at everyone. Nobody seemed to agree with her though, which made me even more upset. But at least she was agreeing with me and wanted to take me to Maine.

"And leave her directly out in the open for her father to come and take her?" Damon questioned incredulously. "We can't just up and take her all the way to Maine, Little Flame. Are you crazy?" He asked, shaking his head as his dark blue eyes stared into hers.

Really, if they liked each other they'd make a cute couple. Even if they argue a lot. But when you argue it's because you care about someone. I know Henry would want me to remember that every now and then, but it's not like I can remember everything in the heat of the moment.

"Aria would be safe," Charlotte promised, wrapping an arm around me. She has started to feel like a big sister to me, protecting me at the best level she possibly can, "I would make sure of it. Plus, Damon, you're going with me. We need her away from the King, and all."

"What? No!" I protested, moving her arm off of me. "I need to defeat him. He's my father, after all," I said to them, but they just brushed it off. They obviously thought I would be safest away from him, but I think I'd be the very safest just ending him once and for all myself.

"Well, I think if it's between letting Aria get herself killed, and taking her to see if she can get into Storybrooke with us..." Damon started, "I guess... Storybrooke wins by a hair. A hair."

I couldn't help it. I walked over to Damon and embraced him, a smile clear on my face. I was going to see Mary-Margaret and David again. Emma and Regina again. My Henry again. My Henry. I like the sound of that. It has a ring to it, really. It's unbelievable that I can call Henry my boyfriend now, after all these years.

Damon, Charlotte, and I woke up bright and early the next day, about 7:30am to head to Storybrooke. I didn't have anything but my nonworking cellphone to take, which was stuffed into the back pocket of a pair of ripped jeans that Bonnie had owned, and a red top that Elena had owned. Meanwhile I was wearing the new combat boots that Charlotte bought for me.

"You ready to head to the town, kiddo?" Charlotte asked, ruffling my hair with a warm smile. She'd make a great mother, I thought to myself with a grin. With just a nod of my head and a goofy smile plastered on my face, we got in Damon's beautiful blue car and started on our way to Storybrooke.

The ride was crazy. It consisted of screaming, hair pulling, aux cord stealing, pee breaks, tons of gas refueling, and getting lost. I hadn't been aware besides Maine and New York in this world, so you can bet that I had trouble trying to find where to go. But once we got to New York, I gave them directions from there.

Directions that lead us straight to nothing. There was a little town there, but it was nothing like Storybrooke. It was more modernized. Storybrooke was an older looking town, with a clock tower library. There was definitely no clock towers there. The people there also seemed to recall their past and there was no "evil" mayor there. It was normal.

"So... I guess that that didn't work," Charlotte said softly, turning to look at me with sympathetic eyes, "I'm so sorry Aria. We were really to help you not only get home, but to stay safe from the King."

The light glow in my eyes due to the excitement dulled when the realization dawned on me that Storybrooke must be in another dimension. A world that isn't like this one. But now how am I supposed to get home? And why does it have to be me experiencing all of this?

"It's okay... I should've known I was wishing on a star when we came here looking for Storybrooke. Regina or Emma would have found me by now if this were in their world anyway," I said softly, looking down at me feet. I couldn't help it. I was sad, and disappointed. I was really hoping my friends and family were going to be here.

But like I said, it was like wishing on a wishing star that it would be here. I should have known that Storybrooke wouldn't be here. "Wait..." Damon started, turning to look at us as he parked on the side of the road next to a building in this new town, "So you're saying we drove all these hours, all that time... for nothing? All that arguing and fussing for absolutely no good outcome?"

"Yeah..." Charlotte sighed out, looking over at him. They began to whisper amongst themselves and I couldn't hear a word they were saying. I wish I could hear what they were talking about...

[3rd POV]

Charlotte and Damon were talking to each other as Aria tried to listen from the back of the car. However, she was failing, as they whispered as faint as they could. As they were vampires, they whispered softer than mice: "Yeah, maybe we should keep her away from the King... I think we should take her away to make sure she's safe. Maybe make it a mini vacation?" Charlotte questioned.

"That sounds like a plan. Whatever we can do to make sure he doesn't get Aria and to make sure she's safe," Damon nodded, before starting on the drive back to Mystic Falls. Aria heard none of the conversation, but they just kept going as if they didn't have the conversation. So there they were, back to fighting over who got the aux cord and got to play the music in the car.
