"He's been through a lot." Blue said as she stared down at the older August. Him and Regina ended up going missing and the others went to go find them. They did, or they found them, I don't know the details exactly, and August had somehow went back to being an adult. We were at the apartment when he suddenly passed out so we brought him here.
"What's happening? He was awake, and then he passed out, and..." Emma trailed off. She was holding his hand and staring down at him with worry.
"Well, he's been changed by magic many times. For him to survive this, he will have to be very strong." Blue reached down and stroked his hair.
Regina leaned forward and said to Emma, "We have a bigger problem," Emma looked back at her. The four of us, Regina, Emma, Henry, and I, decided to step out in the hallway to talk. Regina was the first one to say anything, "Gold and these other witches are expecting me. They sent me on a mission to get that page from the book. And if I return empty-handed, whatever suspicions they have of me will be confirmed."
I sighed, "Why do things always have to come up?"
Emma stopped, "Then give them this." She held out her hand and an exact duplicate of the page appeared. I looked at her with surprise in my expression. She has gotten really good with her magic.
"Wow. You're getting good." Henry smiled.
Emma turned to look at him, "I've been practicing."
Regina wasn't having it, though. She reached forward and snatched the fake out of Emma's hands, "A forgery? This is Gold we're talking about."
"Then pull out, and we will protect you." Emma said. She had her arms crossed over her chest and she wasn't going to back down from the looks of it. She was very determined.
Regina sighed, "We still don't know what they're up to. It's a bigger risk not to know," She laid the page down on the book as her phone rang. She sighed once again and reached for her phone. She looked down at the screen, "That's them. Probably wondering where I am."
Henry looked over at Regina, "Mom, the forgery's good."
I nodded, "He's not wrong. I can barely tell the difference between them."
"Not good enough," Regina stated. "But maybe what we need is a different kind of copy." Regina smiled and held up her phone. She had it on her camera and she was getting it in focus.
I laughed a little, "That's genius!"
"Because Gold and those witches don't know that the page contains the actual door," Emma started understanding. The flash went off and the camera shuttered, "All they care about is what the door looks like."
