Chris's POV:

Oh goddess! That was unnerving. I thought, as we walked to the pack house. I glanced at my mate. At least she said yes. I smiled.

Now I need to plan the rest out for the date. Hmmm......

"Chris?..." Valerie hummed.

"Yeah?" I answered.

"Umm, about the date ......... Where are we going? What should I wear?"

I smiled at her. "That's a surprise and as for what you should wear.....just be casual."

"Oh OK." She smiled and we fell back into silence.

We entered the pack house and I headed out as soon as I dropped her in our room. I have a lot of work to do..... I thought.

Valerie's POV:

'I can't believe we're going out on a date with mate!' Kendra howled in delight. I chuckled at her excitement, feeling all giddy too.

'Yeah but it would have happened eventually.' I said, trying not to squeal and giggle from excitement.

'What are we wearing, what are we wearing?!?' I could feel her jump up and down in my head.

'I don't know but we have tomorrow to decide.'  I walked over to the closet. I looked at my variety of clothing options. I dug through the closet in search of something desirable to wear because if I start tomorrow, I'd never find an outfit.

'Wait! What about that? In your hand.' Kendra said. I looked at the piece of clothing. It was a pair of black high-waist ripped skinny jeans.

'Sure why not. ' I shrugged. I threw the piece of clothing over my shoulder and continued digging, finding a white, long sleeved, hooded crop top and a pair of black timberlands to go with it.

'These will be fine.' I said.

'These will be perfect!' Kendra corrected. I shrugged and got up. When I looked around at the mass mess of clothing, if I hadn't done it myself I would have sworn that a tornado ripped through the closet. I groaned in annoyance and started to clean up. By the time I was finished it was almost dinner time. I plopped myself down on the bed and stared at the ceiling. After a few minutes the door opened revealing Chris and I sat up immediately. He grinned at me.
