Luke's P.O.V
"Dude, are you paying attention? Like at all?" I look away from Calum's back and turn my attention to Ashton, who's been poking me for the past five minutes.
"Attention to what you idiot? No one's talking" I point out, making sure I keep my voice down so that the substitute teacher doesn't hear me and gets me in trouble.
"Anything other than a certain brown eyed football player" Ashton answers, a little bit too loud. The boy sitting next to Calum three rows in front of us, a guy named Michael who's the biggest asshole on the planet, turns his head, looking over at us. Ashton notices this and waves, since he seems oblivious to how much of an idiot Michael is. Michael waves back, seemingly confused, before glaring at me and turning back to Calum.
"Keep it down, he could have heard you!" I turn my attention back to my book, pretending to read while I wait for Ashton to stop staring at em so that I can go back to watching Calum, in a very non creepy way of course.

The lesson ends way too soon for my liking and Ashton is out of the room the second the bell rings. I take my time putting my books back in the bag though, and that might have something to do with the fact that our teacher told Calum to stay behind after class to talk about something. This is the only class I have with him and I'm not gonna miss out on an extra couple minutes just to get to PE early. Why didn't I get Ashton's schedule? He has half of his classes with Calum and I'm stuck with Michael in most of mine, and as if that wasn't bad enough we have to sit next to each other in English. At least I'm not the only one suffering, it's obvious Michael hates that just as much as I do.
"Hi." I look up from my notebook, that I've been staring at for the past five minutes, and my eyes lock with the brown pair I've been dreaming about. Calum is standing less than two meters away from me, he's talking to me.
"H-hi." I have no idea what to do now, should I run? Should I try to say something funny and probably fail miserably and get laughed at? I end up doing neither of these things, instead I drop my books. It's cliche I know but when we both bend down to pick them up our hands touch and I really feel the sparks people talk about in movies.
"You're Luke right? Wanna hang out?" He hands me my books and I put them in my bag before looking at him again, unable to grasp what he just said. Does he, Calum Hood, really want to hang out with me? I'm just...me. I'm just Luke, nothing special about me. I'm not saying I'm gonna pass, I'm not gonna miss an opportunity to spend time with Calum just because I doubt myself.
"Yeah, sure." He smiles and before I know it he's pulling me with him as he walks out of the classroom. He doesn't' stop by his locker...I mean by what I THINK is his locker, it's not like I know where that is or anything, and I don't ask if we can stop by mine, I just follow him out of the school, trying to walk behind him so he won't let go of my hand. I still can't believe this is actually happening, but I sure as hell don't want it to stop.

"This song's amazing! Turn it up!" I watch as Calum get on his feet, running over to the stereo and turning the volume up himself before sitting back down. "I'm gonna break down these walls, I built around myself. I wanna fall so in love, with you, and no one else." I really wish he could see his face right now, in this moment when he's grinning like a fool as he's singing along. He's so beautiful, and from what I've learned about him over the past hour I've understood that he doesn't see that.
He gets up again and I watch him as he opens a cabinet and takes out two mugs before heading over to the stove. I can't see what he's doing over there, since I'm sitting on the floor, but it does give me a great view of his ass so I don't mind.
