~Yes. Here we go. There won't be any more parts after this but maybe, possibly a second one, a sequel type of thing? About what happened after? What do you think?

“what do we do?” Michael looks from Calum to Luke and back again, waiting for one of them to say something. They don’t get the chance to, however, before the sound of a door being opened downstairs is heard. Michael immediately walks towards the bedroom door, only to be stopped by a hand on his shoulder.
“what are you doing?” out of the three of them, Luke definitely seems to be the calmest and his voice is only shaking a little when he speaks.
“it could be him Luke, come on.” Michael shakes the hand off and continues, completely ignoring the fact that whoever it is that’s in the house with them could be just outside the door waiting to kill him. Luke and Calum exchange looks before following him, Calum hiding their bag in a closet first, and the three of them sneak out onto the landing just above the stairs, making sure they’re still out of sight from downstairs. Michael is the first to see it, and when he does so he gasps, quickly covering his mouth with his hand. The others soon follow his gaze, their eyes widening when they realise what it is. Ashton, beaten and bloody, is being dragged down to the basement by someone wearing a mask and, just like the four of them, black clothes.
The door to the basement slams shut and the three sit there, staring at each other.
“I’m calling the police.” Michael is the first to make a move, just like back when they were in the bathroom, and he gets on his feet, heading back to the master bedroom to use the phone he remember seeing in there.
“We need to find a way out.” Luke says. “if we find a way out and we get Ashton, we can get out of here in no time.” Calum nods, looking unusually pale, and the two of them rise to their feet, splitting up to search through the house.
Michael reaches the phone, raising it to his ear as he dials the short number, thanking whoever it is that made the decision to keep the landlines in this house. What he doesn’t notice is the spike that’s been placed in the receiver and when he puts it to his ear it stabs him, making him drop the phone.

In the meantime, Calum’s realised that there aren’t any doors on the seconds floor and he decides that their best chance is to leave though a window. He re-enters the last room he searched through and walks up to one of the windows, pulling the curtains to the side, only to reveal that the window has been boarded up. He quickly checks the other window in the room, only to discover that that has been boarded up as well, before trying to remove the boards. He manages to get his hand in between two of them but when he starts to pull, hidden blades slam down on his hand.

Luke decided, not long after they split up, that he had a bigger chance of finding a way out on the first floor and now he’s there, sneaking through the rooms, looking for a door or a window or anything that could get them out of there. He ends up in a short hallway and right in front of him, on the other side of the livingroom, is another door, seemingly with no extra locks on it. He takes a quick look around, just to make sure there’s no one around, before entering the room. as he gets closer to the door, he realises that it is, in fact, unlocked, but when he’s halfway across the room he stops, a sudden, stinging pain on his cheek confusing him. He raises a hand and hisses in pain, his eyes widening when he sees blood well up from a cut on the back of his hand. Looking up, he notices the razorsharp wires tied across the room, almost invisible in the dim light, and he realises that if he’d been walking and faster, he wouldn’t be alive right now.
