Hydra Head Quarters

"Okay so everyone understands the plan right. Keep them all distracted while I save Steve." Tony told the avengers.

They all headed out the quinjet and into the line of fire. Red skull captured Steve and now they are back to save his butt. Spider-man, Black Widow, Falcon, Thor, Hawkeye, and Tony battled out all the soldiers.

Tony quickly caught two heat signatures and took off flying towards the inside of the building. He swerved around the corners trying to hurry and save his best friend. He quickly burst through the door and looked at Steve as he was trapped inside a tube. Red skull closed the door to the jet and it took off. Just great!

"Red skull is in a jet with Captain. I'm going to go up, try to kill as much as you can." Tony said.

"What about me?!" Peter asked as he just webbed up the people. He hated the thought of killing someone even if they are bad.

"Go find Steve's shield." Tony replied knowing that Peter hates killing.

Tony arrived inside the jet and found Red Skull. He watched as Steve was strapped down and he was taking out some of his blood with a needle.

"Your mine." Red Skull laughed.

"Argh! Red Skull let me go!" Steve growled.

"Don't you just hate never knowing someone's true identity? How about we see what your face actually looks like." Red Skull said grabbing Steve's mask.

He pulled it off and reveled Steve's blond hair as it fell against his face. His face was wide and angered. Tony saw enough and shot at Red Skull. The needle filled with Steve's blood dropped and broke.

"You fool!" Red Skull yelled.

"You mess with one avenger you mess with me!" Tony yelled out at him.

"Ah Tony Stark. I've been expecting you." Red skull laughed.

"Oh yeah?! Well bet you didn't expect this!" Tony yelled out as he shot his repulser at him.

Red skull fell on the floor and stayed there. Tony ran to Steve and unbuckled the straps that held him.

"Thanks Iron Man." Steve smiled.

"Anytime Cap." Tony replied.

Suddenly a huge maniac-tic laughter came from Red Skull as he stood up.

"No I wasn't expecting that at all. But while you Tony Stark were saving Captain here you didn't notice that." Red Skull said pointing behind them two.

They spun around and were instantly shot by a strong repulser. It hit them hard and they both went flying out of the jet falling towards the ground.

"Tony!" Steve yelled out as he tried to grab Tony's arm.

Tony flew down and grabbed Steve from the front of him. Steve held on tight as Tony flew up towards the jet when suddenly he stopped flying.

"Shit Jarvis!" Tony yelled out. "Start up!"

"I can't Sir it seems that your suit has been shut off from the repulser." Jarvis replied.

Tony's mask lifted up as his suit powered off.

"Fuck! Steve I'm sorry!" Tony said.

Steve looked at his eyes then around him. They were falling down fast as they embraced each other.

"It won't start at all?!" Steve asked worried.

"No!" Tony replied with anger and pity.

"It's cold." Steve said as he started to shake from the snow that hit his body. He was out of his suit and only in a grey jumpsuit.

They were nearing the floor and Tony hugged Steve tight. They both embraced one another, as Tony buried his head into Steve's chest waiting for the ground to kill them both off.

"I'm sorry Steve." Tony said.

"It's not your fault Tony. At least we die together.... your the greatest thing ive ever seen... I love you Tony." Steve said hugging him even tighter.

Tony felt him shaking and he grabbed his shirt burying his face deeper into his chest.

"System is back on, its warm enough." Jarvis suddenly spoke.

At that Tony flew up and both there hearts skipped a beat as they almost landed on top of a pointy rock. They went crashing into the snow but still held onto one another. The cold snow toppled onto them and Tony's suit broke off.

"Shit that scared the life out of me." Steve said laying down in the snow.

His body was shaking and Tony's cold body was shaking as he was on top of him.

"S-So you love me Cap?" Tony smirked as he was shaking more.

"...yeah I'm sorry..." Steve said sitting up.

"Don't be. Truth is I've liked you for ever!" Tony laughed as he sat up and sat next to Steve.

Tony pulled Steve close to him as they both were shaking and you could hear the chattering of there teeth.

"You-you did?" Steve smiled.

"Yes Capsicle... now let's find warmth before we both turn into capsicles." Tony said giving Steve a quick kiss on his cheek.

Steve smiled wide and picked up Tony like a rag doll holding him bridal style.

"Hey!" Tony protested.

"Shush! Come on it will keep you warm." Steve said holding Tony close.

Tony was still shaking but not so much from the warmth that came off of Steve's body. They both were suddenly stopped as Spider-man came flying up and landed on his back in front of them.

"Steve!.... Wait what?!" Peter asked taking off his mask, which showed a very bruised up face, and stared at Steve holding Tony.

"Kid! Uh we are kind of like freezing to death where is everyone?" Tony said looking at Peter.

He looked worse than Steve since Steve's body is able to hold onto the cold more than Tony.

"Mr. Stark! Uh we are back there.... here I got you guys." Peter said tying them both up in his webs.

He took off through the trees as the pair below were barley having enough warmth. Tony and Steve's bodies were turning ice cold and they looked like they would pass out in any moment, Tony looking worse than Steve.

"Guys! We have a dying Iron Man and Captain." Peter told everyone as they all ran into the quinjet.

Tony and Steve still held onto each other as they tried to gain some warmth and Natasha immediately turned on the warm air.

"Thanks." Steve said as Tony and him departed from there hugs.

Tony yawned down as the ice made him very tired and leaned his head against Steve's arm.

"What happened out there?" Clint asked as he eyed Steve and Tony suspiciously.

"Eh Nothing important." Steve said.

"Okay to Avengers Tower!" Falcon replied as they left Antarctica and headed back home.
