Peter sighed as he collapsed into his bed in the compound. The Avengers, including him, were up there due to a small mission they had to undertake. Now he was exhausted and just wanted to knock out. Yet the dust and blood on him was slowly getting onto his bed. "Karen turn the shower on for me please." Peter said throwing off his suit and rummaging around for extra clothes to wear after the shower.

He heard the water turn on, and so he casually threw his clothes onto his bed before grabbing his towel. The water felt nice on his skin and he looked down to see everything fall. As soon as he got cleaned he jumped out and opened his bathroom door, walking towards his bed and sitting back against the door.

"Peter!" Voices yelled and Peter almost lost it as the Avengers ran into his room.

"I'm changing!" Peter yelled but laughed as they all covered there eyes even though they knew he had a towel wrapped around his small body.

"Leave Peter alone." Tony said walking towards the door. "He's changing come on." He ushered everyone out and before he went, he stopped eye wide. "Peter what's that?"

Now the Avengers were all back inside being snoopy. Peter looked behind him and frowned trying to see what Tony was talking about. Tony instead walked closer and grabbed his arm, gently, before raising it up and staring at the small inked tattoo. He tried to erase it with his hand hoping it will smudge put it didn't.

"When did you get a tattoo?!" Tony said and the Avengers now looked at his arm. It looked like a weird symbol and they stared at Peter for answers.

"A few months ago...." Peter said.

"What does it represent?" Steve asked.

"Why did you get it?" Tony demanded.

"Why is it built like that?" Clint snorted.

"Who gave it to you." Natasha replied folding her arms.

"Is it permanent?" Bruce questioned.

"Does it represent great honor in midguard?!" Thors booming voice rang.

Peter was wide eyed at the list of questions and angry, along with confused glares. He sighed and grabbed his arm back from the Avengers grip. "I got it at a tattoo shop. I designed it."

"Why!"

"I got it to always have you all connected with me..." Peter said looking down now. "A few months ago we had the mission in Russia. Remember..."

Flashback my fellow humans

"SPIDER-MAN!" Iron man yelled as he flew trying to take down the enemies. "You are going to have to push the buttons!" He said in the intercoms.

Peter huffed as he finished taking out a couple of enemies and he ran towards the buttons. "What order!"

"Green, blue-" Tony's voice cut out as Peters intercom broke. Peter growled and threw webs towards the person who broke it, hanging him upside down.

Peter gulped as he stared at the buttons. He quickly pushed green, blue, but stopped. One last color. Which one?

A slow dark laughter came from the hanging guy and Peter turned towards him. "Good luck Spider-Man. One wrong move and you can kill every single Avenger on field."

Peter groaned and looked at the buttons. Stay focused Peter. His hand wavered over red and orange. He slowly clicked orange right as Tony's voice came through the door. "RED-"

It was too late. Peter gasped as he turned to see the big building they were in, begin to explode. The blast threw the Avengers, everywhere, and Peter yelled out as he too got blasted.

Luck was on Peters side that day however. No one was killed, all though the blast could have and should have killed the Avengers. However they all did suffer great injuries. Every single one had at least one broken bone and major burns/cuts. It was Peters first ever big mistake that could have resulted deadly.

Present time

"After that incident I got scared. I would have never been able to live with myself if I killed one of you. I felt scared and alone after that day, but you all reassured me that you were here for me even though I hurt you all badly..." Peter said. "So a month after that I got this tattoo. It stands for all of you. So I know you will always be with me..."

They all went dead silent and stared at Peter. He shifted his legs feeling a bit uncomfortable until Natasha spoke up. "Peter you don't understand how badly we all want to hug you right now but you are still in a towel."

Everyone laughed including Peter and he shook his head. "Can I change now?"

They nodded their heads and Steve was the one this time to usher everyone out. Peter quickly changed and when he finally opened his bedroom door, he was greeted by a group hug.

"We all love you Peter." Tony said as they kept hugging him. Peter smiled into the hug and accepted the warmth, in fact it felt as is a shield of protectiveness was set around him.

"I love you guys more." Peter smiled.

The End :p
