Luna couldn't take all of the torture from the kidnappers so she decided to figure something out to escape this hell. She thought of a perfect plan.
The moon lit up the knife that was still on the table underneath the window.
While both of them were asleep she started slowly moving the chair towards the table. Carefully not to make a loud noise, she scraped the floor with the chair. Suddenly the chair squeaked. She widened her eyes and feared that the sound woke them up. Then, she turned in their direction to see, but they still were sound asleep. Letting out a breath she was holding in, she continued going to the table.
Luna turned her back to the table and tried to grab the knife with her hands. She carefully touched it, but it slipped off the table. Her quick reflexes caught it with ease and she sighed once again. She heard some shuffling from the bed in the room and feared that one of them woke up so she quickly returned to her position.
The squeaking of the chair woke one of them up and he came up to her.
"What are you doing?" he asked, standing in front of her.
She acted nonchalant "Nothing, I felt uncomfortable so I moved" she defended herself. The knife was still in her hand, but because it was dark, he couldn't see it.
"Shut up and stop moving" he ordered, going back to bed without doing anything to her.
Luna let out a breath she didn't know was holding. Thank God. If he saw me taking it he would've killed me right away.
She started cutting the rope that was tied around her hands and freed herself from it. She looked over the bed and found one of them missing. Frozen in her spot she needed to think of a plan quickly.
She hid the knife underneath her thighs and weakly tied her hands with the rope so it would look like she's still tied. Hearing a ruckus outside the room she pretended to be asleep on the chair. After twenty minutes, the guy came back and went back to bed.
She waited a couple of minutes before untying her legs. Succeeding in that, she freed herself from the ropes and put the knife on the table where it was in the first place. Now, she needed to think of a plan of how to get out of the house. The doors must've been locked, so she decided to try to escape through the window.
She slowly got up and headed for the window. Looking down through the window, she got chills from the height but she could still jump without dying. After a couple of minutes wasted on hyping herself up, she decided to jump. She opened it and poked her head through. There was grass down that could ease the fall. She climbed on the window sill and just as she was about to jump, someone grabbed her hair.
She screamed in pain.
"Where do you think you're going?" the guy asked her, yanking on her head.
She grabbed the knife she left on the table. The guy saw that and tried to get it out of her hand but she cut him. He retreated his hand and yanked her head more. Luna almost fell from the windowsill but she held on with her other arm. Wanting to free herself, she quickly stabbed him in the stomach.
The guy yelled in pain and pushed her. He grabbed his stomach that was gushing blood out and collapsed on the floor.
The other guy woke up from all of the noise. He quickly went to help him. He saw what was happening and tried to stop her, but it was too late. Luna was already out of the window.
She landed badly on her legs and sprained her ankle. Hissing in pain she started limping so she could get away from this hell hole.
The other guy started running downstairs and tried to catch up with Luna. Considering her sprained ankle, he was faster than her. He quickly caught her. She started screaming but as soon as he grabbed her a gunshot was heard.
Both of them froze at the guy standing before them.
