Matthew noticed Luna and Lucas kissing and he stopped in his tracks. He turned around and widened his eyes. Blinking rapidly, he tried to clear his sight to see if it was really true.

Luna and Lucas sprang away from each other like magnets with opposite polarity. They climbed out of the car approaching Matthew carefully. He was still blinking rapidly.

"Hello?" Lucas waved a hand in front of Matthew's face.

Matthew came back from his trance and shook his head.

"But you- you just- both of- what?" he barely stammered out, pointing at them with both of his hands.

"What? Spit it out" Luna was clearly acting as nothing happened.

"But you just kissed!" he exclaimed, spreading his arms. He couldn't believe what he saw.

"What? When?" Lucas raised his eyebrows.

"In the car!!" Matthew shouted and pointed to the car behind them.

"Do you really think I would kiss him?" Luna looked at Lucas with disgust to cover their slip up. She didn't mean it and Lucas knew it.

"But you did!!!!" he continued.

"You need some sleep dude" Lucas swung his arm around Matthew's shoulder and they both started walking towards the building.

Lucas then turned around mouthing to wait for him to Luna. She got the message and waited for him behind the building, taking a note in her head to be more careful next time.

"Oh my god! That was close" Luna exclaimed after Lucas came.

"I feel like we're teenagers sneaking around" Lucas chuckled as he approached Luna.

"Oh, I wish I was. I didn't care about anything then" she sighed.

"Let's go" he grabbed her arm.

"Wait, they can see us where the car is" she stopped him.

"Don't worry. I moved it" he winked. He knew that she'll say that, so he moved it in advance.

Luna loved him being considerate.

They arrive at Lucas' house. He opened the car door for her, being a gentleman.

Luna shyly smiled and climbed out of it. She was never shy. She didn't know why but he awakened another side of her.

"Woah, your house is big" Luna said in awe as she entered the house. It was a two-story house with five rooms. The entrance was big and on the left, there were stairs leading to the second floor.

"Yeah. I'm really proud of it" he said.

He gave her a tour of the house. The last room was the living room. Brown and green were the colors that were dominant in the room. It looked peaceful like they were in nature.

"So, what are we having for dinner? Should we just order?" Luna asked, plopping down on the couch.

"Do you not know that your boyfriend right here is a world-renowned chef?" he joked, pointing at himself.

"Sure, sure." Luna chuckled "What should we order?" she grabbed her phone.

"No, I'm serious. I'll cook. You can help me" he started walking towards the kitchen.

"Okay then" she followed him.

She watched him taking dishes and placing them on the counter. He grabbed food from the fridge and started chopping it. Luna was still looking at him, admiring him. He was really good at chopping food.

She came up behind him and gave him a back hug, melting into his back.

"You can prepare the other dish. There are the ingredients" Lucas said with a smirk, moving his head to indicate where the ingredients were. He pretended to not be affected by the hug.

"Let me just hug you a little bit more" she snuggled closer to him.

"We can hug after we finish this. That needs to be ready when I'm finished with this" he pointed to the food he was chopping.

Luna pouted and stomped towards the food. She crossed her arms and turned towards Lucas. She wanted to hug him forever.

"What am I supposed to do with these?" she was annoyed because of the rejection she just faced.

"Prepare them" he stated.

"Yeah, but how??"

"There's a recipe book behind you. Everything you need to do is in there" he said pointing to the book on the kitchen island.

"Okay" she said and started working.

"I'm good at this. I should've become a chef, not a police detective" she flattered herself after chopping one tomato. She never cooked anything in her whole life.

"Yeah, you're really good" he said, looking at her result.

"Could you say that I'm better than you?" Luna said suggestively, wiggling her eyebrows.

"Don't push it. You're good but not as good as me" he chuckled.

"Oh really?" she asked, smirking and grabbing an egg. She started twirling it in her arm.

"Don't you dare" Lucas carefully said and raised his arms "You'll clean it if you make a mess"

"That's okay. It'll be worth it" she said as she cracked an egg on top of his head.

He grabbed her arms but she already cracked the egg. It started running down his face and he wiped it.

Lucas took a handful of flour and threw it in Luna's face.

"Oh no you didn't" she said, puffing out white flour while talking.

"Oh yes I did" he started backing away from her.

She smirked and started hugging him, smearing flour all over him. He grabbed her arms and forced her against the counter.

"W-what are you doing?" she stammered. She tried to calm her heart down but she failed.

"Taking revenge" he smirked and slammed his egg-yolk-covered lips on her flour-covered ones.
